Human Feelings

(Bell POV)

A blinding light filled our vision, completely blinding us all for a moment.

When it finally died down, there was nothing left of the person known as Cid Kageno, no bones, no flesh.

"NEW RULE!" Monokuma said angrily "YOU CANNOT INTERFERE WITH EXECUTIONS AT ALL! PERIOD!"

"Fine by me," Ayanokoji said as he turned around and left the room, not even glancing back. Even if this was starting to become the norm, it felt too cold for him to still not even care for someone he clearly worked with.

"Hey," I said, making him stop and turn around "...You worked with Cid to make this happen right?"

"I did,"

"So...Why don't you care?! Do any of our lives even mean anything to you?! Even Kyoko, who is normally just as expressionless as you can at least spare a sad look!"

"...What would you like for me to do then?"

"At least you can remorse a little about the fact that he died helping you!"

My blood was boiling, I don't think it has ever gotten this bad before. I considered Ayanokoji a good friend, as I did with everyone here, but the way he was acting now, was too much for me to not do anything about.

"Just leave it, Bell," Subaru said "He still doesn't have his memories back yet, and also he hasn't shown emotion once since being here,"

"Yea...But still-"

"Sorry, Bell," Noell also interjected "But, we should just leave him be as is,"

I didn't know how to explain this, why was no one particularly upset about Cid's death? Some had looked sad, but those looks were already gone. I was in the right, there was no doubt about it. Even if he was a murderer, he was still one of our friends that we knew. So, why did everyone agree that Ayanokoji's approach was right?

"I agree with Bell!" Hestia yelled out.

At least someone here agreed with me, but it still didn't feel like her words had any effect on anyone else.

I looked down to the ground in disappointment, as everyone left the room. I was the last one in there with Monokuma.

"Hey, can you leave now? I gotta clear this room out and I don't want to babysit while I'm at it!"

"...Fine," I dejectedly left the room, sulking as I went right to my room.

(Ayanokoji POV)

Bell's outburst has caused quite the scene, but now I was focused on what was going to happen next. We had to go to the next floor.

Monokuma appeared as we were all walking up-minus Bell- to the next floor. He made another rule that we weren't allowed to break down doors either, hinting that at least one door would likely be locked up here.

When we arrived, there was a music hall, which I went to first. It contained instruments as expected. I had also checked the gate Cid cut through, but it was already restored.

There was also a headmaster's room that was locked, as well as the data privacy room was also locked.

Kyoko looked at the data Privacy room, thinking likely what I was as well.

There was likely some sort of proof that this killing game was being broadcast there.

"...Are you sure you're going to leave things as they are with Bell?" She asked while not looking at me

"...I am in the wrong for not feeling bad. I know that that's the human reaction when seeing someone you know die, but I don't apply that rule. As for why, that's what I'd like to find out,"
