THE WILD ROSE

The wild rose
Sometimes hidden from me
In daily custom
And
In ritual,
I live by you unaware,
As if by the beating
Of my
Heart.

Suddenly you flare again
In my sight,
A wild rose
At the edge of the thicket,
Where yesterday was
Only shade,

And I am blessed and choose again,
That which
I
Choose before.

Upon reaching the grand palace, where my runaway husband resides, my life has officially become a drama show, only the bride runs away not the groom, and the groom is the one who searches for her is it not?why is mine so different? I guess my story takes more turns than I thought it would, I thought to my self walking straight to the palace door,

Let me in this instance, I am your queen I command you I said already furious about everything that happened today, I was boiling with rage

Your majesty, you are not to be here, the king's order the guard spoke with his head down

What king! The king who leaves his bride in the dust, or the king who has no respect for his queen I raged out, pushing the guard out of my way,

Hurry up Louis We don't have much time to waste I called to my personal guard

Yes your grace, he said hurrying up beside me

Where shall I find him? I asked  matching up the stairs, looking back at him

Umm your highness slow down, you might fall he said worriedly

Are you telling me what I need to know? or did I make a mistake asking you for help? I stopped at my hills looking at him questionable

No your highness he replied

Good now can you please show me the king's room, I feel like we have being walking in circles I spoke out exhausted looking around to see doors and doors of rooms all shut closed

Behind you he said

Behin-d me? Wha-t  oh my! Louis you really know how to work me up, you're joking right? I said in shock

Well I tried to- he tried to explain but I cut him of mid sentence

Oh! Forget it, we are here already right?

Yes he said shortly

I faced the door, grabbing the knob and pushed it open for my eyes to meet.......

Ahhhhhhhh!!!!! I bust out screaming shutting the door, only to grabbed by a hand behind the door,

What are you doing here he deep voice roared out, with my eyes tightly shut I spoke back, To see you.

Exhaling in a breath as my nose hits a familiar scent of mint and sandle wood, does he always smell this nice I thought

I came to see you I finally spoke out

I told you to stay!! Why are you so stubborn he spoke clearly unhappy, And why are your eyes shut he spoke with a hint of confusion in his tone
