*Meri*
The sun is shining brightly as we enter the fairground, and the smell of popcorn and cotton candy fills the air. "I have always loved the atmosphere of fairs". I say, grinning at Tom. He squeezes my hand and nods in agreement.

Lumi and Zac walk beside us, their laughter contagious. "Remember when we used to come to carnivals as kids?" Lumi asks, her eyes sparkling.

"Of course, we always had so much fun together". I reply, reminiscing.

"But you never tried a Texan one". Zac winks at us. "Cowboy style".

"Yi-ha". Lumi cheers. It warms my heart to see her in such high spirits.

As we enter the area with the games and rides, Tom spots a ring toss game and challenges Zac. "Bet I can win a stuffed animal for Meri before you can win one for Lumiøz  He says, smirking.

"You are on". Zac replies, grinning. "You do remember my card toss right ? You can still bow out".

Lumi and I stand on the sidelines, cheering them on. "They are so competitive". I laugh.

"It's adorable". Lumi agrees, her eyes never leaving Zac.

After the games, where they both win a cute baby blue teddy, we decide to take a break and indulge in some classic fair snack. Tom hands me a fluffy pink cotton candy and says. "I hope our son will enjoy these as much as we do".

"I have no doubt he will". I reply, taking a bite.

Lumi and Zac share a giant pretzel, playfully arguing over who gets the bigger piece. "You know you always win these little disputes". Zac teases.

Lumi grins and replies, "That's because I'm always right. Also I have to eat for two, remember ?"

We spend some time exploring an exhibition of machines, like ride-on lawn mowers and stuff, Zac being like a kid in a candy store . During a moment when Tom needs to rest, he sits on a bench, and I join him. "Are you having a good time ?" I ask, concerned.

He smiles and wraps an arm around me. "Absolutely. I just need a breather".

As we continue exploring the fair, we come across a small section with stands selling homemade baby clothes and blankets. The four of us exchange excited glances and decide to take a closer look.

As we approach the first stand, Lumi's eyes light up at the sight of the delicate, hand-knitted baby clothes. "These are so adorable". She exclaims, picking up a tiny pair of booties.

Zac nods, smiling. "Our son would look so cute in these". He says, running his fingers over the soft fabric.

Tom and I walk over to another stand, where a friendly vendor is displaying a variety of cozy baby blankets. "Look at this one, Meri". Tom says, holding up a beautiful blanket with a playful animal pattern. "What do you think ?"

"I love it". I reply, touching the soft fabric. "It would be perfect for our little one".

As we continue browsing, Lumi and I share our excitement about dressing our sons in these lovely handmade items. We chat with the vendors, learning about the craftsmanship and care put into each piece.

Eventually, we make our selections. Lumi and Zac purchase a few outfits and a matching blanket, while Tom and I choose a couple of onesies and the animal-patterned blanket.

With our new treasures in hand, we continue to enjoy the fair, our hearts warmed by the thought of our babies wrapped up in these special items.

As the day goes on, Tom and Zac decide to go on a few rides, while Lumi and I opt to stay on the ground due to our pregnancies. The guys head towards a roller coaster that looks like it's designed for younger kids, but they are up for the challenge.

"You sure you want to do this, Zac ?" Tom asks, eyeing the small coaster wagons.

"Absolutely! I'm not going to let a kids' ride intimidate me". Zac replies, laughing.

With determined grins, they squeeze themselves into the small seats. Tom fits in without too much trouble, but Zac's long legs make it difficult for him to get comfortable. As the ride starts, Lumi and I can't help but laugh at the sight of our partners on the kiddie coaster.

The ride comes to an end, and Tom hops out easily. Zac, on the other hand, struggles to untangle his long legs from the cramped space. A small crowd starts to gather, and someone suggests calling the fire department to help free him.

Hearing this, Zac's face turns red with embarrassment. Determined not to become the center of attention, he musters all his strength and manages to wiggle his way out of the roller coaster wagon.

"Well, that was quite a show". Lumi teases as we walk over to them.

Zac chuckles sheepishly. "Yeah, I guess I should stick to the grown-up rides from now on".

We all share a good laugh, although Zac's roller coaster escapade was embarrassing, it only adds to the fun and excitement of our day together.

As the day turns into evening, we decide to grab dinner at the fair. The delicious smell of various fried foods and BBQ wafts through the air, making our stomachs growl in anticipation. We all agree that trying some classic American fair food is a must, especially for Tom, who has never had a corndog before.

We walk up to one of the food stands, and Zac excitedly orders a round of corndogs for everyone and a large plate of fries to share. The vendor hands us each a golden, crispy corndog on a stick, and we find a nearby picnic table to sit at.

Tom looks at his food with a mix of curiosity and skepticism. "So, this is a corndog ? It's a sausage covered in... batter?"

"Yep, that's right". Lumi replies, taking a big bite of her own corndog. "It's like a magical combination of sweet and savory. Just wait until you try it".

Tom hesitates for a moment, wrinkling his nose as he examines the corndog more closely. Finally, he takes a tentative bite. His eyes widen in surprise as the flavors hit his taste buds, and a smile slowly spreads across his face.

"Okay, I have to admit, this is actually really good". Tom exclaims, taking another eager bite. "I never thought I would enjoy something like this, but it's delicious".

Zac chuckles, pleased with Tom's reaction. "I told you. There's just something special about fair food".

The rest of us nod in agreement, enjoying our corndogs and the warm camaraderie around the table. As we savor the unique flavors of the fair, we share stories about other unusual foods we've tried and the adventures we have had along the way.

Our laughter and conversation continue into the evening as we create even more memories together, with Tom's first corndog experience becoming another cherished moment in our day at the fair.

As the sun begins to set, we gather our winnings from the games and head back to the car. "Today was perfect". Lumi says, hugging Zac.

"It really was," I agree, leaning into Tom. "We should do this more often."

As we drive away, our hearts full of love and excitement for the future, I know that these memories will stay with us forever... not just as two couples, but as one big family, eagerly awaiting the arrival of our sons.
