Esme's POV
I walked out of Casey's bathroom, a bag with my dress and heels in it slung over my shoulder.
"Thanks for letting me change here."
"Of course, it's no problem. Sooo, how'd the date go?" he asked, waiting on the edge of his seat for my response.
"It was..." the memory of his lips against mine came rushing back as I felt a burst of butterflies fill my stomach, "perfect."
"Tell me all the details!" Casey exclaimed, patting the spot on the couch next to him. I didn't know what it was about Casey, but I already felt like I could tell him anything and everything, as if we had been friends for years.
"Well, if you insist," I giggled, hopping onto the couch next to him. Is this what it was like to have a girlfriend? Cuz if so, I loved it.
"When I got there, he was super awkward and ended up falling out of his chair and spilling water all over himself," I said.
"Of course he did," Casey sighed, face palming.
"But it was super cute and we ended up just having a picnic instead. After we ate we started looking around the crystallized mutagen and we ended up kissing."
"Wait wait wait. Did you just say you guys kissed?" he asked, holding up his hand to get me to slow down.
"Yeah, we did, and it was super romantic," I giggled, holding my face in my hands and shimmying back and forth.
"No way! So was he good or what?" Casey wiggled his eyebrows at me and elbowed me a little.
"It was great. The best first kiss I could've asked for," I looked off dreamily.
"Ooh! What else happened?"
Raph's POV
"So, how'd it go?!" April exclaimed as I entered the lair. The guys had let me take the truck so I could transport all of the stuff back but I had left it in the trunk to handle later. My mind was currently on other things.
"Yeah Raph, did she like the dinner?" Leo asked, probably curious since he was the one who had helped me make it.
"Um yeah, it was good, she liked the food a lot," I replied. Honestly, all my mind could keep going back to was that kiss.
"That wonderful, incredible, perfect kiss.
"Earth to Raph!" Mikey shouted, waving his hands in my face.
"What? What is it?" I asked, snapping out of my dazed state.
"Did something happen?" April smirked, a knowing look on her face.
"What do you mean, something? We did the date. The thing. We had dinner! It was fun!" I exclaimed, beginning to get fidgety.
"Oh man, something totally happened," Donnie chimed in.
"No way! You have to give us the details! Come on, don't leave us hanging!" Mikey shouted.
"Nothing happened! Now I'm going to bed, goodnight!" I snapped, before running off to my bedroom. A chorus of groans and complaints echoed from the living room, but I didn't care.
As soon as I got to my room I shut the door and leaned against it.
Did that date really happen? The whole experience just seemed unreal. I pinched myself, not believing it could possibly have happened. This wasn't a dream. I ran my hand down my face, lingering over my lips a little longer. It was as if I could still feel her.
My cheeks flushed. This girl was driving me crazy.
My phone suddenly buzzed from my pocket, making me jump a little as I snapped out of my thoughts. I pulled it out and saw Esme's name pop up.
Esme: I really enjoyed our date tonight ;)
Esme's POV
"Oh my gosh I can't believe you actually sent the winky face," Casey giggled.
"I know, I'm out of control," I giggled back. Then a sudden buzz came from my phone.
"He responded," I gasped.
"Well come on, open it up, don't leave us in suspense."
"Ok ok," I replied, opening the text in the process.
Raph: I did too. I was wondering if maybe you'd want to go out again sometime soon?
"Ahhh! He's asking me out on another date," I squealed, kicking my feet back and forth.
"What are you going to say?" Casey asked.
"Yes, of course," I replied.
Esme: I'd love to go out with you again. Maybe this time I could plan the date since you planned this one?
"Ooh, that's a really cute idea," Casey said after reading my response.
"Right? I wanna do something special for him," I smiled down at my phone, watching the typing bubbles.
Raph: That sounds good to me. Just let me know the time and place and I'm there.
"Looks like I got a date to plan."
