I hear a bellow and look to my right, Ultra-dragon is flying as fast as he can to me. But he is too far away and I am hurtling to the ground at such so fast, that I know I am going to die. I squeeze my eyes shut as the leafy tops of trees come closer and closer to me. As I fall to my doom I can’t help thinking that this is how I am going to die. A broken body with tree branches sticking out of me at all angles. Clearing my mind of such thoughts, I wait for the branches to impale me.
Something soft slows me down, then my feet touch the ground and I open my eyes. All around me is a lush forest and the sound of rustling leaves above me. The ground is springy with moss, and dotted with yellow and pink flowers that grow at the base of the trees. Old trees that had fallen years ago are covered with ivy, the forest rests on gently sloping hills. The air is fresh, smelling wild and free.
I pull my hood-mask off and shake out my hair from the messy bun. Suddenly a new energy runs through me. It is strong and wild, free and growing. Like a forest. I muse in my head. The branches of the trees rustle and bend, rapping me in a leafy embrace. This is my power, my element. That’s why I can hear the voices of the wind, plants, water, stars, and earth. I am the ninja of the forest.
A humming fills the air and I feel a light growing, in my heart and around me. My fingers curl around a cool in my right hand and in my left a strap. I feel the black cloth of my training ninja suit slip away and be immediately replaced by a different cloth weaving over me. A hood-mask stitches it’s self over my head and I feel a slight pull on my hair as it whips around my back.
The light around me fades as the branches straiten. I look down, I am wearing a dark green ninja suit (the same color as the tree's leafs), with silver outlined leafs. In my left hand is a quiver of gold arrows and in my right is a golden bow. Tying the quiver’s strap around my waist and placing the bow across my back, pulling my hood-mask off my fingers brush against my hair. I pull it over my shoulder. My hair has been tightly braided and now has green tips.
Hope flares in my heart. The spell over me might have been broken. As the thought crosses my mind I know it isn’t true. But one thing is for sure, I must get back to the bounty and I know how we are going to win.
