We talk for several hours about what we might be up against and what battle moves might work best. Suddenly I stop mid sentence, black waves pressing in on the corners of my vision. I fall forward, unable to move my body, my head hits the floor then I black out.
I open my eyes. I seem to be floating in darkness. Then I see myself. I am sparing with a shadow man, holding a lip form in my arms. My sword is knocked aside and as the shadow man's sword comes down to make a killing blow to the thing in my arms, I turn at the last possible second. Fiery pain wrenches through me, then everything goes black again. I jerk back to consciousness, covered in a cold sweat gasping for breathe.
"Lloyd a word please." I gasp.
Lloyd nods and helps me up. "What happened?" Xavier squeaks.
"A vision, well more of a warning." I say half way out the door.
"Of what?" Sensei asks.
"Something darker than we thought possible." I tell him.
I walk out the door closing it behind me. Lloyd follows me. I turn to him and say. "No matter what happens, my love for you will never waver and I will be with you always. I promise."
Lloyd's eyes grow round and in a harsh whisper he asks, "You’re going to die aren't you?"
"I doubt it. But it is possible. So I just want you to know that my love for you will never waver and I will be with you always."
"And your promising this to me?"
"Yes."
"You don't need to. I already know, it's the same for me with you."
"I promise."
