I don't know how many days has it been since I've been stuck in my room sleeping day and night. Ganon nalang siguro talaga kapagod ang inabot ko not really physically but more on mentally.I woke up feeling all cramped and when I opened my eyes I noticed how the ceiling is a little closer to mine. How unusual because my room's ceilings are way too far and wide.
My forehead creased as I slowly get up from laying on a small and cheap scented mattress. As I silently scan the whole cramped up room, my heart started to pound uncontrollably hard.
Please. No. Please.
Tell me this isn't what I think it is.
Suddenly, I was in bed again in the same clothes I wore to the dinner I was heading. Nangunot ako. I remember being inside a taxi and what happened next was...
"I blacked out."
When I lifted my gaze up to the ceiling, the face of the man whom terrified me the most was there, staring at me in very bright smile.
"Gising ka na pala. Kamusta pakiramdam mo? You really had me worried when you didn't wake up after a long time." The smile on his face never vanished, instead it became even wider and wider as he starts to take off the comforter off my body.
Tila parang hindi ako makagalaw sa kinahihigaan ko. My voice has also been cut somehow. I tried to move my body but my body lost all senses to even move a single muscle.
My breathing ragged, I almost couldn't breathe and I'm sweating from all the fear creeping inside my body as I look straightly into his delusion fogged eyes.
And before he could stick his hands to touch my skin, I woke up and saw the ceilings of my room way far from me and that's when I realized it was all just a dream.
I stood up to elevate my then hard breathing and relax my hard thumping heart. I was sweating so much. Marahan kong hinilot ang puso ko.
"It's fine, rai. You're okay. It was just a... Dream." I whispered to myself beneath my breath.
After some time of calming myself, tumayo na ako and got myself into a cold shower at bumaba na para kumain.
When I got down, I saw axel talking to one of the maids in his loose denim jeans and white polo. I tilted my head as I get down from the stairs.
"What are you doing here?" I asked nang makalapit, tumango naman iyong katulong saakin at saka umalis.
Axel turned to me in a smile. "Good morning, love." Giving me a soft kiss on the forehead.
I am still not my self when I let him take me to somewhere.
"Hindi na po kailangan ng operator kuya bert. Ako na ho, marunong rin naman akong magpatakbo ng makina."
Tatango-tangong sabi ni axel sa kausap na mamamangka. While I mind the mild sting of the sun on my skin and how it's light shines on the turquoise water of the sea.
The fine powdery sand feels warm underneath my white 1 inch heels that's sinking a little. I inhaled the smell of the fresh and salty sea breeze is the very trademark of Puerto Galera.
Tsk. He greeted me good morning when in fact it was already noon.
"Wait, my bag..." I said when axel gently held my hand with a basket on the other.
"Do you have anything important in it?" He asked.
"Wala naman. How bout you? Aren't your wallet or keys important? We should get it just in case."
Pwera sakin ay siya ang mas may kailangang bitbitin dahil I don't bring my cash nor cards with me anymore since he always insist on paying for the both of us. He's like my instant everything now.
