Chapter 4: Indebted

"Oh, come on Raizza Rosemarie! You're no fun!" Si cavin.

"Go with us na kasi Rai... Minsan lang mag-aya. Get your head off the books even just for once in a while, hindi ka ba nano-nosebleed kaka-aral mo?" Napabaling naman ako kay Aubrey.

"Yeah. It wouldn't hurt naman if you go out and have fun. Come on, stop being such a kill joy!" Cherry kept on clinging on my shoulders.

"You know... for a city girl, you have no thrill." Cavin added.

Oh, please. Given ba na dapat if you live in the city you have to be lively? There's a lot of city girls out there who doesn't like going out.

I'm the living proof of it. I care about my studies and I don't have time for fun. I know I'm too much of a kill joy but... I'm still a little coward with the thought of going into a place like resto bars, clubs and such.

Nagsimula ng mag rant ang tatlo saakin. Ilang araw na din kase sila nito and they're still not giving up on convincing me to go out para magrelax. I gotta be honest we've been busy for a couple of days and ngayon lang kami nagkaroon ng time.

"Sige na rai, please? Please... Pretty please?"

I rolled my eyes when the three of them started to act cute. And cavin? Seriously? He is really giving me that puppy eyes. What am I going to do with them? They're so clingy and very persistent.

I clicked my tongue. I've been avoiding them and been giving the same 'i am busy with school works' excuse and now that hindi naman kami busy naubosan na ako ng idadahilan.

I sighed in defeat. "Okay, fine." I said. Agad naman silang nag victory dance. May pasuntok-suntok pa sa hangin si cavin. Napailing ako.

"Orayt! Let's go to Queens!" They cheered.

They pulled me into cavin's black SUV. He asked the driver to get us to the resto. Habang nasa daan ay panay ang ingay nilang tatlo. Naghaharotan.

Cherry, Aubrey and Cavin are very close to each other and I can see na sobrang caring si cavin sa dalawang kaibigan niyang babae, when schools over he always took the courtesy to give the two a ride home. And I gotta admit, they are fun to be with kahit na maingay sila masyado.

When we got to the resto, umupo kami sa isang table at nag-order ng foods and drinks. The resto was nice, it was already dark outside and the room inside were lightened by neon lights.

"You look tensed. Here, to calm the nerves." Aubrey gave me a drink.

I'm a bit conscious of my surroundings especially there's a lot of people inside that I don't even know.

"Good to be back baby!" Cavin gleefully remarks.

"Ack! Yes! I missed this!" Si cherry. Bahagya naman akong natawa.

So, they come here often, huh? Natawa ako. They're so carefree. The people of here are so carefree.

I guess I should feel happy too? Madami ring tao sa loob mostly students cause you can tell by their uniforms. Swaying their body in the electric wave of music surrounding them.

The feels.

College feels.

My eyes wandered around the room. Napatingin ako sa mini stage na naka set-up sa unahan when I saw a familiar face. He was smiling while talking with his friends. He's brushing his knuckles on the surface of his lips while smiling.

I shook my head when I noticed there's an acoustic guitar strapped behind his back. Medyo nakatagilid siya sa banda ko. Letting me seize the moment of admiring his side profile, his tallness and his body built.
