Chapter 47: Accident

I left in a rush with my heart beating rapidly until I got to the hospital where axel was rushed into.

I clenched my fist as I reach for the knob of the half opened door of his hospital room. I heard axel painfully groaning from something.

"Seriously, Joe. I'm alright just don't touch my arm." Si axel.

"Don't you know what you did was dangerous?! Ang tigas talaga ng ulo mo! First it was grey, now pati ba naman ikaw?! Nagkakandaloko na kayo dahil sa babae!"

"Don't you dare tell sienna about this. Wag kang magkakamali or I will instantly quit the band."

"Ha. You guys are really something, huh?" Another painful groan came from axel before I heard his manager speak again. "What kind of bullshit came into your head that you decided to drive straight into an alley and crash, huh?!"

"I didn't get in serious injury, alright? So, you keep your mouth shut and keep your distance from raizza. I don't want this incident to reach her."

"You kidding? I'll be answering to the boss and could lose my job because of your reckless driving! It'll be in no doubt plastered to the media first thing in the morning and yet you worry about your dear CEO?!"

Napahilot sa noo iyong manager ni axel dahil sa stress na paniguradong inabot niya.

"Even if I don't talk—news will surely reach her. O sige nga! What will you do by then?!"

Axel shook his head. " Wag ka nang makialam. Ako na ang bahala sa bagay na iyon. I will explain to her—"

Hindi na naituloy ni axel ang sasabihin niya when the door creeked after I pushed it. Axel's eyes instantly went straight to find my eyes.

"Then, you better explain it to me now. Properly." I calmly said.

They we're both surprised upon seeing me, kasunod naman noon ay ang pag-ingay sa likuran ko ngunit saglit lang iyon at naging tahimik sila, because anyone could read how silent the room was.

Mahinahon Rai. Mahinahon kang makikipag-usap sakaniya. My jaw clenched but I left my fists un-balled.

Someone whistled kasunod ng isa pa.

"Uh-oh." Hindi ko na nilingon kung sino iyon, I know it was grey.

"W-we'll be o-outside." Axel's manager carefully said bago iniakay sina grey na nasa likod ko paalis.

Tumabi naman ako para makadaan sila and then I closed the door behind me. I walked towards the chair next to Axel's bed, I saw him gulp a few times as he watches me sit.

"Rai..." Marahang pagtawag niya saakin. Face weakened and softened.

While I was busy looking at his state. His left arm is covered in bandages. Silently thankful that he isn't in a worst state but this doesn't make me feel any better either!

"Rai, I'm sorry." He unnecessarily apologised. Then, axel reached for my hand with his right hand. His hand is warm, just like it should be.

"Make sense of your explanation or I..." I held myself back.

My eyes are starting to sting but I need to be cool headed to fully grasp and understand his reason.

"Why would you..." Hindi pa man ay nanghihina na ako. "W-why would you do such a thing? I know you. You wouldn't do something reckless such as this if it isn't necessary. So, tell me the reason why." Hot tears fell down from my eyes without restraint.

I thought I would fucking lose him too.

"I'm sorry, baby. I'm alright, I'm okay."

Umirap ako. "What happened?" Nang hindi siya umimik ay sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. "What. Happened?"
