Chapter 24: Drunk of him

Axel was talking with someone on the phone from the balcony when I got out. He glanced at me when he heard the door closed.

The cityscapes of Manila at night is really a sight to behold. The flickering lights of the cars at the highways just adds up to the beauty that lies between the city at night when the city is fully alive.

Ang mga naglalakihang buildings, ang mga nagtitingkadang ilaw, ang tunog ng mga sasakyan, ang malamig na simoy ng hangin, the atmosphere. Nothing really beats the feel of home.

I sat down at the sofa on the balcony outside while axel got down para kunin ang pagkaing pina room service namin after I threw his guitar's capo straight in his face. When he went up ay dala na niya ang mga pagkain.

We ordered quite a lot too. I don't know how but we somehow do finish our food no matter how much we order naman.

I felt a bit guilty watching him eat with a bruise on the side of his lips. Kaya I availed ointments from the room service.

"Come here." I commanded.

"It stings." He said.

"That's why I told you to dodge before I threw it at you."

"Tss. You're the only one who'd warn her target before hitting them, you know that? Who would even do that?"

"I do. But who on earth would be so stupid not to dodge even when given the warning to do so?" I got a little amount of the ointment on my finger and moved closer to him para ipahid sa gilid ng labi niya.

Natawa siya but stopped ng diinan ko ang sugat niya. You knew what was coming before you decided to pull that little trick on me. That's what you get for trying to peak on me.

"Rai?"

"What?" My eyes are fixed on his lips. I'm gently brushing it as it feels so delicate to touch.

Natigil ako when he suddenly captured my hand by the wrist, the one I'm using to put ointment on his lips.

"You're not scared of me anymore. You don't tremble and your hands don't shake at all." He ran his eyes on my hand. "And I'll make sure you won't ever again."

Then, he kissed the back of my hand while looking at me so softly, it felt intense at the same time.

I stared into his eyes and slowly, a small smile crept into my eyes. He looked more handsome with that cut on the side of his lower lip.

"I know it's inconsiderate of me to ask you this, but... Would you be mine if I ask you to?" His voice turned serious. "... I'm yours even if you don't ask, rai. There's no hesitations there. I'm. Yours."

As my gaze soften, my heart also made the same deed. How can he be so pretty and serious and gentle at the same time?

I nodded before he pulled me into a hug.

"God, you're so beautiful." Him gently caressing my hair.

Kinaumagahan ay maaga kaming umalis para sa opening ng nasabing convention. when we got there medyo kunti pa ang tao. The three of us sat on our designated seats habang ang mga organizers ay naghahanda pa.

This is such a good opportunity to learn and socialize with other people kaya kahit papano ay I'm still happy about being picked as one of the rep students of our school to attend this convention.

When the program started everyone was very active. I'm a bit indifferent seeing Axel's actually listening and being attentive to the speaker while grey... well he's being grey as he should be. I could see that a lot of people are looking at our table and most of it were girls. They're either looking at axel or grey.
