"𝑺𝑶 𝒀𝑶𝑼'𝑹𝑬 planning  commit assault with a deadly weapon... on a guy who might be a cop?" Chris asked, her tone flat as she glanced at Vince in the rearview mirror. Dom had ropped Christiana into driving Him, Jesse, and Vince around to spy on Brian because Vince was having a gut feeling that he was a nark

"Vince crossed his arms defensively. "If we scare him bad enough, he won't say anything."

Chris blinked, processing his logic. "Wow. That might actually be the stupidest thing I've ever heard."

Dom leaned forward from the back, his deep voice filling the car. "If Brian values his life, he'll tell us the truth."

Chris snorted. "Yeah, because threatening someone always makes them honest. Y'all really think this is gonna work, huh?" She threw her hands up dramatically. "Oh my god, I'm going to jail."

"You're not going to jail," Dom said, trying to reassure her.

"You're right—I'm going to prison." Chris sighed, her head dropping onto the steering wheel as she parked across the street from Hector's garage. She jabbed her finger at Dom and Vince. "You've got ten minutes to find whatever dirt you're looking for. Nothing more, nothing less. If you go over, I'm driving Jesse and me straight to Mexico."

Chris slouched in her seat, fully expecting to be ignored, and of course, she was. Ten minutes later, Dom and Vince were hauling a panting, groaning Brian toward her car, practically tossing him into the front seat before piling into the back with Jesse.

Chris stared at the scene unfolding before her, her patience hanging by a thread. "So... you guys actually did assault the guy you think might be a cop?"

"He's not a cop," Dom said, his tone steady.

"Oh, well that's a relief. For a second there, I thought this whole plan was insane," Chris deadpanned, tapping her fingers on the steering wheel.

"Listen," she continued, "I love y'all, but I can't go to jail. Not to sound like an egomaniac, but I'm way too pretty for that. Like, inmate #4675 might be  jealous of how perfect my eyebrows pretty and shank me."
