"𝑴𝑶𝑴, 𝑫𝑨𝑫!" Jesse yelled, launching himself onto the bed where Christiana and Brian lay, clearly exhausted from the night before.

Brian groaned, half-burying his face in the pillow as Jesse bounced between them. "What's wrong, buddy?" he asked, his voice muffled with fatigue.

"Aunt Mia and Uncle Eli are here!" Jesse announced excitedly, still bouncing on the mattress.

With a deep sigh, Brian rolled onto his side, reaching over to tap Christiana on the shoulder. "Your turn," he muttered, barely awake.

Christiana groaned in protest, her voice muffled as she pressed her face further into the pillow. "No, leave me alone, Brian. I'm still tired."

Brian smirked, leaning closer to whisper in her ear. "Well, you shouldn't have asked if I was up at three in the morning."

Christiana's eyes shot open, her cheeks instantly flushing as she bolted upright. "Okay, I'm up!" she exclaimed, throwing the blanket off her legs.

Brian chuckled to himself as Christiana swung her legs over the bed, trying to ignore his smug expression. She quickly got to her feet, muttering something incoherent under her breath, and exited the bedroom with Jesse eagerly trailing behind her.

When they reached the front door, Jesse was practically bouncing on his toes with excitement. As soon as Christiana opened it, Jesse launched himself forward. "Uncle Eli!"

"JJ!" Eli yelled back with a wide grin, catching the boy mid-air as he jumped into his arms. He gave Jesse a big hug before setting him back down, his smile faltering slightly when he glanced up and saw Christiana glaring at him.

"Uh... did I do something?" Eli asked, raising an eyebrow in confusion.

"Yeah, you made me get out of bed," Christiana replied flatly, crossing her arms as her annoyance simmered.

Before Eli could respond, Mia stepped around him, a smirk playing on her lips. "Think of it as payback for that one time you came to our house in the middle of the night," she teased, brushing past him into the house.
