𝑪𝑯𝑹𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑰𝑨𝑵𝑨 𝑾𝑨𝑺 officially eight weeks pregnant. The reality still hadn't fully sunk in. She spent most of her days replaying the events that led to this moment, trying to make sense of it all. But no matter how many times she ran the scenario through her head, there was nothing she could do now—this was her reality.

Today marked a milestone—her first ultrasound. Mia, ever the supportive friend, was right there with her, camera in hand to capture every moment.

"Okay, baby, your mom and I are about to meet you for the first time," Mia said, turning the camera to Christiana, who gave a dramatic smile, patting her belly.

"You ready, CJ?" Mia asked with a smile.

Christiana's hand rested gently on her stomach, a quiet resolve in her eyes. "Yeah, I can't wait to hear your heartbeat, Jesse."

The doctor's office was filled with a heavy tension. Christiana couldn't shake the nervousness crawling up her spine—this was real, and she was doing this alone. As much as she respected the journey of single motherhood, she couldn't deny the weight of it.

"Christiana Jordan?" A nurse called from the doorway, snapping both girls out of their thoughts.

"That's me," Christiana replied, rising from her seat.

"I'm Nurse Sinclair," the woman greeted with a warm smile. "You can follow me."

As they walked to the exam room, Christiana's heart pounded. The sterile walls were lined with pregnancy posters and models—constant reminders of the reality she was facing. She wanted to be strong, to show that she could handle this, but the nerves were still there.

The nurse set to work, preparing for the ultrasound. "Alright, how are you feeling today?" she asked while organizing the equipment.

"I'm fine. Sore boobs are the only thing bothering me," Christiana said with a shrug, trying to make light of it.

"That's perfectly normal," the nurse reassured her. "And who's with you today?"

"Oh, I'm the godmother," Mia chimed in with a grin. "I'm here for emotional support—and to film this moment, of course."
