STAR - JAYHOON

We sat in the car in silence , sunghoon driving with a smile on his face , eyes peeking on me every now and then , and me just sitting , looking at the road , unable to think of what's happening.

After a 30 minutes ride I asked sunghoon to park on the side of the road , i needed someoen to explain what was happening , and he did

-"Are you aware you're risking me to get to jail for sure this time ?" I said , trying to stay composed

-"You're not tho"

-"i am , i was an employee in that company that was proven to be involved in a money laundry scandal, I was a responsible for finances." I tried to explain to him but the expression on his face never changed

-"You weren't tho" he said with an innocent face

-"i was ! I was a contracted employee for 4 months" I yelled at him , his face irritated me

-"Ah ! You're so convinced of what you're saying , they don't have a proof you worked with them " He said with an amused smile on his face

-"They have the contract, the Check in register , my profile and CV , and also all my paychecks , what do you mean they don't have any proofs "

-"This contract?" He pulled it out of his car box , it was the original paper

-"Sunghoon... What's this  " I looked at him in disbelief

-"Aah Jay  , I made sure they don't have a proof you worked for them , they'd use you because of how nice and honest you are , and make you take the whole responsibility " he said pushing the contract in his jacket

-"You ! You didn't!! " I felt my eye twitching, this was a real crime not just an accusation. If i get caught it'll be over for me

-"jay, stop worrying and  you shouldn't feel guilty at all . All your transcriptions were safe and well done, none of their operations were made by you so you're more than safe"

-"I could've proved that , now they'll come for me and won't find me , and I'll be suspected even more" I threw my head back to the seat. For it it be met by sunghoon's hand before it hits the seat "Why'd you have to involve Yourself "

-"you're such a two goodie shoes , they don't deserve you " he creased my face "and don't worry , It's obviously a joke , I have my lawyer work on your case already, we got the contract from your CEO few days ago , in case they act dumb and try to involve you "

-"I looked at him in disbelief

-"I swear, you're legally safe and allowed to leave , you don't even have to attend the court because you're also a victim of their management " sunghoon laughed at my face "I made sure to do everything the way you would do it, if anything, they'll have to pay you for making you a possible tool"

-"stop messing with me " I looked at him , tears forming in my eyes from releif

-"I promise Jay , you're safe "

I loosened myself and he started driving, I was still untrusting of the situation, but he looked too confident to be lying , around an hour later his phone rang, it was his lawyer and he congratulated me , I didn't just avoid a terrible situation, but also landed compensation money because I was concidered sunghoon's family

-"Thank you so much , thank you sunghoon ! ... I really , I don't even know what to say... I love you man !"

I blurted random words out of my mouth , I was too happy to think of anything, and suddenly i heard a strong break squeak, and the car was so fast parked on the side of the road , again ,i thought we had a broken tier or we hit something, so I started looking around , nothing . I turned at sunghoon to find him covering his mouth , face completely red and eyes wide open

-"What happened" I asked , still not understanding why we had to stop

-"If .. if you're going to say such things just tell me ahead" he started breathing heavily, trying to hide his smile "you almost got us killed"

I looked at him and immediately realized what I just said

-"I DIDN'T MEAN IT THAT WAY !" I proteated " I meant I'm so grateful and thankful for you , I owe you is what i meant to say" i said face palming myself

-"no , you said you love me " sunghoon's voice was so small , as if he said it loudly he'd lose it

-"whatever you say , I told you what i meant" I tried to sound as neutral as possible, avoiding the embarrassment "let's just move "

-"I need to calm down first, Jay i think it'll be better if you go to the back seats "

-"Why ?"

-"I think my heart will expload if you sat next to me with that face "

I complied to his request and moved to the back seats , covering my face with a hat I found there , and slept for the rest of the trip

I woke up in a bed , food smell tickling my nose , the place was a little unusual , but i quickly figured i was at sunghoon's. I got off bed and sighted , this can be a very long dangerous day

I followed the smelll and found Sunghoon standing next to the table , trying to fix what can be fixed . I laughed and walked towards him, gaining his attention and making him stand hiding the table

-"It's not ready yet !"

He tried to stop me , but I pushed him gently aside and peeked on the table , it was .. a very interesting looking dish , I laughed

-"What's this" I couldn't stop laughing and i felt him pulling me away weakly

-"I tried to heat some dishes for us to eat , but I don't know how It ended up looking this way" he explained "it's mom's cooking so at least I know it'll taste good"

-"Well , it smells nice !" I pulled a chair and sat "just sit down and eat"

-"aren't you going to impress me with your amazing kitchen skills ?" He said , unexpecting me to start eating

-"I'm too hungry to brag " I said , pushing the seat in front of me with my foot for him to sit on it "as long as it tastes good"

-"I really wanted to empress you" sunghoon laughed awkwardly while sitting down "You lost so much weight there, it was so easy carrying you" he sulked "You should eat more "

-"You sound like my mother " I snorted "Is this your mom's cooking ?"

-"Yes, she comes and cooks for me twice a week " he said pushing a spoon in his mouth , eyes widening in satisfaction

-"You clearly like good food" I smiled " Must be nice to meet your mom so often "

-"She's a very .. young soul" he thought about the words he should use "You'll love her when she comes next time"

-"What ?"

-"you'll stay here for a while , it's natural that you will meet up" he said casually, with a faint smile on his face , he knew I'll get mad

-"That's how you're willing to introduce me to your parents ?" I teased him , and he choked on the water he was drinking , going in a full blushing mess

-"I will refuse that tho, I'll stay at sunoo's while i find a house " I continued eating

-"But why would you go to sunoo" he sounded confused "You can stay here as long as you want , and it's big enough to give you your own room , don't worry about my mom , I'll ask her to avoid you until you're ready"

-"it's not that, i feel very uncomfortable here " I said , holding back the laugh because of Sunghoon's expressions while he tried to convince me

-"why tho!"

-"You never stopped stalking me , did you ?"
