Chapter Twelve: Kisses and Trees
Seth
I am kissing Marlow Riley.
Holy shit.
And I’ve got to say that the girl is an amazing kisser.
When she screamed at me that Micah was flirting with her on purpose it made me want to do two things. One, kill the sneaky bastard. And two, jump around like a kid. I was so fucking happy that my head could burst. God, something is wrong with me. Then it hit me how much of an asshole that I have been to her all day. Guilt set in and I felt horrible about treating her that way.
When she began to leave, I completely panicked. It was like I could not control my arms as they wrapped around her waist. I had her pressed between me and the wall when she started yelling at me. Finally I had enough with her yelling.
I pressed my lips against hers midway through her sentence and she immediately shut up. She did not really respond to the kiss and for a second I was worried that she thought that I was a horrible kisser, but when I pulled my head back I am relieved to see her shocked eyes looking at me.
“Seth, let me go,” she whispered.
Okay, so not what I was expecting. I had no intention of letting her go, so instead I decided to tease her. I took my nose and started tracing it up the side of her neck. I felt her body become heavier on mine and slid my arms around her before she crashed to the ground. I couldn’t make myself stop, so I started kissing along her jaw. I place my lips right in front of hers and look her straight in her honey brown eyes.
“Do you want me to kiss you?” I whisper.
“No.” Okay, again not the answer that I expected, but by the way that she was breathing so heavy, I don’t think that she meant what she said. I slide my nose against hers and then along her cheekbone.
“Do you want me to kiss you?” This time she didn’t even answer me, but just shook her head.
Okay, another try.
I pressed my body up against hers so that she was stable against the wall. One of my hands went to the back of her neck while I placed my other one on her curvy hip. God the girl has an amazing body. I can feel her body shivering against mine, and it just spurs me on.
I kissed both corners of her mouth, millimeters away from the place that I wanted to kiss most, but first I had to make sure that she wanted the same thing. So, again I asked her the same question. This time she did not make any move to say no as her answer. She just looked up at me.
That was enough.
And now here I am, kissing my arch enemy and the weird thing is that I like it. At first she does not kiss me back, but then her lips start moving against mine, causing my pulse to jump. She jumps when I prod at her mouth to open with my tongue and makes no motion to open her mouth. I try again and this time her lips open.
Pretty soon we are making out. Low moves her hands to my hair and she tugs on the tips a little. God that feels amazing.
When I am out of breath, I pull away from Low and press my forehead against the top of her shoulder. I can feel her quick breaths against the top of my head and her fingers clutching onto my back. We both stay completely silent. I listen to the sound of her breaths as they slowly return to normal. I am waiting for her to pull away and start yelling at me, but she just continues to hold on to my back.
