Chapter 2

Lisa's POV

I'm now staying at the hangout area inside the YG building putting on my earphones to avoid people disturbing me while I'm busy reviewing the dancer rehearsal of the other trainees.

I just came back here in Seoul yesterday from a week long vacation in Thailand, to spend time with my parents and here I am now back to reality that no matter what happens, even though I have thought about retiring from the music industry many times, my passion still pulls me back.

I'm not a full-time pop artist anymore, but I'll still want to release my album soon which my fans have been waiting for for a long time. I've been busy being a mentor here in Korea this past few months so my recording of songs is always delayed.

I was looking at every detail of the trainees' dance when I saw in my peripheral vision that Ahyeon, and Chiquita were walking by and I noticed that they were pushing each other so I secretly muted the video just to hear what they were saying.

"we need to greet her." I heard Chiquita say.

"She's busy, if she yells at you, you'll cry." Ahyeon replied annoyingly.

I suddenly felt bad knowing that when they see me, they feel that I will scream and make them cry.

Am I really that bad of a mentor that they think I will scold them even outside the training room?

should I lower my strictness when it comes to teaching?

No, they won't be serious about training if I go soft on them. I reminded myself that no matter what happens, I will not lower my standard of teaching so that they will feel closer to me because if they are mature enough to think, they know that my way of teaching will be good for them.

"She won't do that, come on let's go." chiquita said confidently, I can't help but smile while listening to their conversation, they didn't know I was hearing them.

They stood in front of me, Chiquita was smiling genuinely while Ahyeon was obviously just forcing herself. "hello mentor Lisa, good morning." Chiquita greeted softly and they bowed together.

I took off my earphones and smiled at them. "Hi, good morning ! by the way congrats you finally made your debut." they bow again.

"Thank you, mentor Lisa. They praised us because of your teaching skills. We are so lucky to have you as our mentor." Ahyeon mumbled while her partner was smiling and just staring at me as if she was daydreaming.

Even though I know that Ahyeon is annoyed with me, I know that his appreciation for me is genuine

"You were praised because you were good, you did your best. You both can sit if you want." I offere them.

They sat down shyly but chiquita's phone suddenly rang. "Sorry, I have to answer this first." She bowed and immediately moved away from the table, I smiled when I saw how Ahyeon's gaze followed her.

I think I made a mistake in thinking that I see Rosie and I's friendship with the two of them because of Ahyeon's gaze now, I feel something strange is being indicated. Rosie never looked at me like that and I never looked at her like that.

" Do you like her?" I suddenly asked, she looked at me and rolled her eyes.

I chuckled at the attitude she always showed me, she really didn't care about who she was with. "yup, I like her but she had a crush on you." She shrugged.

"what? like!!! as in you like her romantically?" I asked suddenly because I didn't expect her to have the courage to admit her feelings and they are still too young.

As far as i know she is just 15 and chiquita is 13.

"yup, I know you think I'm still young at 15 but, I know how I feel and Chiquita also knows that i like her and she said she likes me too but, we were both still young and we're willing to wait." She said boldly that made me giggle. "and I hate you because whenever we are together you are always her topic even though you always make her cry, she still has a huge crush on you." She rolled her eyes again.

"Come on, a crush is just admiration, so you shouldn't be jealous of me." I patted her on the shoulder and shook my head thinking that she was really jealous of me.

Chiquita came back and sat next to Ahyeon. "mentor Lisa, I really want to be like you. I have really admired you since I was young , I danced and sang your songs. I want to tell you this before, I just had a chance now because every rehearsal you are very serious and you are always angry with me, but I am not mad I look up to you even more because you are very genuine in teaching us, you tell us when we do wrong so we become better. Thank you so much mentor Lisa." She said kindly and I smiled knowing that she didn't absorb my teaching in a negative way, she just stared at me, she looked so happy while Ahyeon was obviously annoyed looking at Chiquita.

"Thank you and that you appreciate the way I teach, you can call me eunnie. It's too formal to call me, mentor." I smile at them.

"Really?" Chiquita said happily and I immediately nodded. "eunnie can i hug you?" She added .

"what!! No." Ahyeon bluntly said I want to tease her so I opened my arms to hug Chiquita and she immediately stood up to hug me.

"oh gosh! I can't believe this. It's really a dream come true that I can hug you eunnie. God knows how much I want to hug you since I knew that you will be our mentor." awhhh this kid wants to make me cry.

"Arrrgh, I hate you." Ahyeon disturbed our moment, Chiquita broke the hug.

" Sorry about her eunnie she was just jealous." I smirk when Chiquita approaches and hugs her.

"You're always jealous, can you please reduce your possessiveness, remember, I'm not your girlfriend, and you're seriously jealous of Lisa eunnie?" Ahyeon wrapped her hand around Chiquita's waist.

I don't know what to think of these two. They are very sweet to each other, they don't respect me, they make me feel like I'm single, which is true.

"right, I'm not against what you feel for each other, but please know your limits, especially when you're in a public place, remember that all eyes are on you, so you should be careful with your actions." I reminded them.

I know that in today's generation, the kind of relationship they have is acceptable, but there are still many close minded people who will object and bash them.

" thank you eunnie."
Chiquita bowed to me while Ahyeon looked like a kid who was afraid to be left by her mother, I just giggled thinking that Chiquita was only 13 years old acting like a mom.

"Believe me, I would love to talk to you two, but I have to go to the studio."I folded my laptop.

"see you around eunnie" Chiquta smiled.

"bye eunnie." Ahyeon said

"Bye guys, see you around " walked towards the studio wondering what the management's reaction would be to the two of them.
