Chapter 34

All the girls were  amazed at their friend's house, the only thing they knew about Chiquita, was that she was  a simple girl with a simple lifestyle, talented and smart.

They also know that she grew up without a Father but she met him recently. She has a cool and supportive mom that they are only going to meet now.

Even though they see Chiquita as a  kid as her age and their younger sister, she is mature enough that she knows how to keep her personal life secret.

She recently met Lisa, as her other parent  but the information she tells her friends is limited and as considerate friends, they didn't dig deeper about it even though they were curious about the sudden change in their friend's lifestyle.

At this moment they are all amazed at what they see because their friend's house screams wealth. They suddenly understood why Chiquita, had expensive things whose price they did not expect and other luxurious items such as clothes jewelry and bags.

"Mom!!! I'm home." Chiquita announced her presence.

"At the dining, sweetheart" Jennie replied to her daughter, Chiquita held Ahyeon's hand and the other girls followed them.

Jennie greeted them with her very nice smile and the girls bowed  in respect to their friend's mom.

Chiquita introduced them  to her mom, and Jennie welcomed them with a tight hug and thanked them for taking good care of her daughter. All of them complimented Jennie, that she looked way younger than her age and  that you can't mistake her for chiquita's mother.

Jennie's heart flutters with compliments given by her daughter's friends adding her confidence but she notices that Ahyeon is quiet. She expects her to be talkative because that's what she notices in the videos she sees and also in the way her daughter describes her.

Jennie knew that she had something with her daughter so she thought that she was  shy to express herself  because of her presence, so she made a way to get rid of the awkward feeling she felt.

She put her arms around Ahyeon's shoulder which surprised her .
" ChiraDee Quentin, what did you tell about me to this young lady  that she seems to be scared of me?" Jennie said playfully making the other girls giggle.

"no Ms Kim, the truth is she is always proud that you're a very cool mom." Ahyeon explained nervously, Chiquita smiled as she stared at the interaction between her mom and the girl she likes.

"Then you shouldn't be shy sweetie. I don't want you to feel unwelcome in our home and  I don't want you to call me Mr. Kim , it's too formal, just call me auntie or mom if you want." Jennie wink to Ahyeon that made her blush the other girls teased her including Chiquita.

" Okay girls you may sit down and start eating, don't mind me i'll just wait for my wife." Jennie offered kindly, the girls were so excited that they didn't notice what jennie said that she would wait for her wife, because it is obvious that the food is grabbing their attention .

They looked for their place to sit in front of the table and somehow Ahyeon breathed a sigh of relief.

"mom, where is dada?" Chiquita asked before sitting next to Ahyeon.

"Your dada called me before you arrived and said she was on the way." Jennie replied with a smile before she left the dining room.

"Chiquita, are you really your mom's daughter ? Not to offend you but Ahyeon looks like your mom . Gosh how does it feel that your future mother-in-law looks like you.?" Roca, teased the two of them as Jennie left for a moment making every one giggle except for Ahyeon who just rolled her eyes.

"Hey people in this house, I'm here, why don't you at least welcome me?" Lisa shouted when she entered the house, which was heard by everyone in the dining room.

"Is that mentor Lisa? You invited her too?" Asa asked, Chiquita just smiled in response.

"Hon, later we have a visitor." Jennie said while walking towards the dining room, trying to get out of Lisa's embrace but Lisa, hugged Jennie tightly from behind pressing her face into the crook of Jennie's neck ignoring her wife's words because she misses her so much.

They arrived at the dining and everyone was surprised by what they saw except for Chiquita, while Lisa was unaware that their visitors are her daughters friends.

"I miss you so much hon, let's go to the room please." her face is still buried in Jennie's neck.

Chiquita shook her head because of her dada's mischievousness, she cleared her throat to get her dada's attention and when she looked at the table, her eyes widened when she saw the confused look of the girls.

"oh hi!!!" She said awkwardly before she approached her daughter and kissed her on the cheek which made Chiquita's friends even more confused.

"Girls, you probably already know her. I just want to introduce her to you as Quentin's other parents." Their eyes widened at Jennie's words and while Ahyeon, wanted to bury herself 6 ft below the ground in so much embarrassment.

"hi everyone, I'm happy that you finally know about me and my daughter. Sorry if we only thought of telling about it now, but I hope that it will remain private , guys." Lisa smiled at them while the girls were dumbfounded by the information and they  just nodded their heads.

They continued eating and  the girls started joking about their training days that Lisa made Chiquita cry most of the time while Ahyeon, just bowed down her head the whole time because she was awkward, Chiquita held her hand under the table to comfort her.

"anyway, how are you feeling baby, can you tell me why you look pale earlier.?" Lisa asked that Jennie frown.

Chiquita rubbed  her neck, she was too shy to tell her parents about her having her period but she couldn't hide it. Good thing everyone finished eating.

"ahhhhh, my abdomen hurts because I've had my period." She said shyly and her parents eyes widened.

Jennie stood up and approached her daughter. "really?". She asked while holding Chiquita's cheeks which made Chiquita blush.

Jennie immediately hugged her daughter. " My God !!!I can't believe that my baby is already a fully grown woman, dada she's not a baby anymore." She said .

Chiquita's friends giggle at Jennie's cute reaction. "good thing I don't need to warn you not to get pregnant too soon  baby, right ,Ahyeon?" Lisa winked at Ahyeon, who didn't know how to feel whether happy or embarrassed.

Jennie gave Lisa a death glare before she held the young lady next to her. "Don't pay attention to her sweetie , if you get affected with her teasing, she will tease you even more. As my daughter said, I'm a cool mom, so whatever you two are hiding from me, you don't have to worry about it." Ahyeon smiled at Jennie's words.

"Thank you auntie." Ahyeon replied shyly Jennie patted her head while Lisa and her daughter were smirking.

The whole time they were all laughing because they were able to capture the playful side of their terror mentor, how naughty Lisa was new to them, but she behaved when her wife gave her a glare.

They also witnessed how cool and close Chiquita's relationship with her parents was as if they were just friends.

Ahyeon, on the other hand, has somehow become comfortable  because Jennie doesn't let her feel  awkward .  Whenever Lisa teases her, she goes to the rescue to side with the young lady she knows her daughter likes.

Chiquita couldn't contain her happiness while seeing how her parents entertain her friends and especially how her mom treats Ahyeon. She could not fully imagine that two people who look alike not only in face but also in behavior would click with each other.
