Chapter 7

Flashback

Jennie's POV

I took off my face mask and wiped my sweat after I recorded a tiktok dance video.

I did it a few times before I was satisfied with the dance that i record. I want the video to turn out well before I post it, not that I wanted to become famous, I just want to increase my followers so that I have a great opportunity to sell products on this platform.

Right now I have 1.5 k followers and I'm happy that I'm making money and at the same time I'm entertaining myself. 

There are shops that send a sample of clothes to use in my video content at first I doubted that I can sell but I was very surprised that many people have checked out and I can say that I earn twice as  much from selling online than my salary at the convenience store where I work.

I sat down on the side of a tree to rest, today is my day off so I have a lot of time to hang out and to create content.

I was focused on watching my video content when suddenly someone spoke next to me.

" You keep on watching your own video, you are too much in love with yourself huh ." instead of being mad, I laughed at her statement.

I looked at her, she was wearing a face mask and  cup the only thing I could see was her beautiful doe eyes staring at me. " Yeah right I love myself." I giggled.

" you are good at dancing." She mumbled,  taking her eyes off me .

"Thank you, you're good at speaking Korean, but you're obviously not from here." I told her .

"I live in the US, I'm just here for vacation."

My eyes widened when I heard what she said. "my God you're from  America? do you know Park Chaeyoung or also known as Rosie? have you seen her in person? she's beautiful right? oh God if I'm given the chance to see her in person I'll die of so much happiness." i dreamily said while I imagine the day I will see her. I came back to my senses when I heard her chuckle.

"I have seen her in person and truly she is a great person." I smiled at what she said, I came a little closer to her and I grabbed her jacket and shook it.

"really? God, you are very lucky. Do you know that I want to go to  america to see her and to warn her rumored girlfriend, Lisa, that if she hurts my rosie posie, I will kill her." I scoffed and she suddenly laughed.

" why?  don't you want lisa for Rosie?" She asked.

"Whoever makes my Rosie happy, I will support her, I'm just her fan and I'm happy if she's happy, why should I interfere in her relationship? if she wants Lisa then go for lisa , she'll be the one who will sleep with her, so she's free to choose." I said seriously and she laughed again, I think this woman is crazy, I didn't say anything funny why she was laughing?

" What you said is funny, I like talking to you but I'm already hungry, can I invite you to lunch? " She looks like a good person even though I can't see her face but  if she doesn't pay for what I eat, I won't go with her.

"I won't come if you don't pay for my food." I said frankly.

"Of course i will .  I was the one who asked to eat, I will pay." She said as she stood up she reached out her hand to help me stand, I just raised my  shoulders before I took her hand.

Lisa's POV

I want to have a normal life, I want to do what normal people do, walking down the road without anyone paying attention to me, going anywhere I want without hiding my face but I can't do that because everywhere I go, the camera follows me.

I feel like I don't have freedom but I can't do anything because this is my chosen profession, it's my passion, so even though it's hard, I try to be normal by disguising myself every time I travel so that no one will pay attention to me and I think it's effective.

I'm Lalisa Manoban, 22. I am an American pop artist . I'm not bragging but I'm one of the most popular solo artists internationally.

My condition is not a secret to everyone. I'm an intersexual. Some people believe it, but many don't.

They say that it's just a tactic of my agency to make me famous but it's true. I'm a woman but I'm blessed to be given male genitals and I'm not ashamed of what I have.

I'm here in Korea right now for a vacation and to relax myself from the toxic things that are happening in my life.

I passed by this small park earlier and I decided to stop and hang out because I noticed there were only a few people and the place was quiet. I sat on a tree and I was in my deep thoughts when I noticed a woman dancing in front of her phone. I smiled when I noticed how many times she repeated her dance.

she's a perfectionist . I can tell that she is good, the way she sways her body, I can tell that she has the potential to be a good dancer.

She saved my stressful day and I didn't even remember the last time I laughed but I didn't realize that she was able to make me laugh in her natural way of expressing herself .

We walked to a nearby restaurant and she continued to talk about how she became Rosie's fan and what she could do for Rosie. How funny that she told me that she joined fanwars just so she could defend Rosie from those who were destroying her reputation.

It is not unknown to me that Rosie received a lot of hate when the issue about our relationship boomed.

A lot of people actually believe in the dating rumor involving me and Rosie.

We are best friends, but our entertainment agencies  are taking advantage of the issue so that people can talk about us more, so that means we are not allowed to give a statement about the issue, so people believe that we have a relationship.

I laughed when she told me that she would kill me if I hurt Rosie, and I wonder what her reaction would be when she found out that I was Lisa.

I honestly see her as a cute and charming woman, she is not boring to talk to, her sense of humor does not stop me from smiling behind my facemasks , her expressive eyes are entertaining to look at whenever she talks about her Rosie and her gummy smile. 

Oh God I will never get tired of looking at it every time she shows it. She is beautiful,  very beautiful.

I think I need to see a heart doctor because my heartbeat is very unusual.
