Chapter 26

Lisa's POV

Her head was on my chest while her hand was inside my shirt, caressing the skin of my stomach up to my boob.

I couldn't stop my smile at what she was doing, so I kissed her head and hugged her tight. I miss this, being able to hug her, kiss her, touch her and be with her until I wake up in the morning is like a dream come true. I wish we could be like this forever.

We are now here in her room, spending time together after we talked about the complex situation of our family.

I will admit that I was a little upset, just a little but I understand and am fully aware of Jennie's sensitive feelings.

"I know you're upset, I'm sorry." She broke the silence and I let out a deep breath.

"I won't deny that, honey, but I understand. I don't want you to feel bad about yourself because of a situation you didn't want. Always remember your peace is my peace too. We'll wait for you to be ready." She looked up at me, I smiled before capturing her lips with a gentle kiss for assurance.

"I love you." I whispered when our lips parted. "I know and I love you more." She replied before she returned her head to my chest.

"You still haven't told me about how you found out you were pregnant and what was your reaction at that time, please I want to know."  I changed the topic.

"I made myself busy at that time so, I don't have time to think about you . I worked my ass out. I focused on online selling  and covering dance videos. My income is good from being a content creator within 2 months with other money I saved. I founded the boutique shop, I was so busy every day  taking care of the shop that I almost forgot that I was heartbroken." She chuckled.

"I don't know that I'm pregnant because I don't feel any other signs that I'm pregnant except that I'm greedy for food. I thought it was because of my anxiety that i'm always hungry.

Until I passed out because I was so tired, I was taken to the hospital and that's when I found out that I'm already five months pregnant. I thought I only had belly fat because I gained weight, but it turned out to be a baby bump.

The reason why I added Quentin as  her second name was because she was 5 months inside my tummy when I found out that I'm carrying life inside me. About my reaction? of course I was shocked but when I saw it Quentine at the ultrasound I felt happy."

" sorry to ask this but, did you try to tell me that you are pregnant with me?" I just want to know .

"Yes of course! if you noticed that when you unblocked me you're no longer blocked by my account because the moment I found out about Quentin's existence, I immediately unblocked you but, I'm still blocked on your account. I can't send messages and I can't call your number anymore. I tried to make another instagram account to reach out to you but it still didn't work, so I gave up."

"I'm really sorry, hon." I apologized, she looked up at me and smiled.

"it's ok, it's not your fault, I broke up with you,  we ended well. I think your only mistake was that you shot me with your sperm so many times that night not minding that you didn't use protection, but somehow I'm grateful for that because now we have our charming, annoying , beautiful, talented and intelligent daughter ." She smiled at me.

"I promise, I'll make it up to you and Quentin." I kissed her on the  forehead.

"You don't need to hon, being with us from now on is ok for us." She said sincerely , we were silent for a few moments when I remembered my plan.
