Chapter 12

Flashback

Lisa's POV

"Seriously, Lisa, you know that we have dating issues, then we'll hang out in this place ?

God! You know that this bar is a popular hangout place for celebrities for sure there are a lot of paparazzi here" I unbuckled my seat belt and put on my cup.

" Come on Rosie they have released the issue that we are in a relationship even though we are not, we're just friends let them think what you want them to think." I snort at her.

"You're only saying that because you're not the one who receives more  hate, for fucking sake, Lisa, I'm tired of reading and hearing hurtful words." if I could only take all the hate thrown at her because of me, I would have done it a long time ago because one of the most painful things for me is seeing my friend hurt, she doesn't deserve all that.

"I'm sorry." I mumbled.

I feel guilty, she looked at me she forced herself to smile, I know she also felt guilty of what she said because of the sudden change of  my mood.

" I'm tired of those people who hate me but won't I get tired of being with my friend, especially since I think something's bothering her.  I'm sorry too, don't feel bad about what i said  . I love you , you know that." She patted me on the shoulder and got out of the car.

I just smiled when I got out of the car she put her arm around me and we walked towards the inside of the bar,
we noticed someone secretly taking pictures but we just ignored it.

It's just irritating that wherever we go there are people following us as if we no longer have privacy and we're sure to be on the front page of many articles later.

"so you want to hit someone tonight?" She smirked as she played with the whiskey with ice in her glass.

" Nah, you know I'm not like that Rosie, I just want to refresh my mind." I looked at the bunch of people dancing.

I see how drunk girls dance, I also want a girl to dance with me like that, but not with any stranger, I hate that people I don't like grind on me so disgusting.

"You think alcohol can refresh you? Oh anyway, It's been a month since you went on vacation in Seoul and to think that you extended for a week which is unusual, I'm sure something happened. Care to share?" I smirk.

It's been a month and I almost forgot that I met an amazing woman because of the many things my agency is asking me to do that I don't want. I'm already stressed but I can't help but smile bitterly when I remember that I was rejected by the first girl i like.

"Hey, speak." she was snapping me out of my thoughts.

"yeah, about Korea. I met a beautiful, talented, sexy and moody but sweet girl. I like her, I try to make her fall in love with me, but she doesn't want to sacrifice her peaceful life to be with me in the chaotic world I live in. She's right, I also don't want people to hate her because of me." I shrug.

It's annoying how fate brought us together and how I was allowed to fall with her but we won't be together in the end .

"ohhhh you're in love !! but she's right,  having a peaceful life is a gift Lisa and the world we both live in is hell." I chuckled at what she said.

"She is a solid fan of yours, I even tricked her that I will let her meet you if she will just let me live in her apartment and she let me stay there for a week.." I giggled and suddenly Rosie hit me.

"you fucktard just don't tell me that you fuck her using my name."

"Crazy,  I'm still a virgin." I snorted  and she laughed.

"I was just joking. Wait a minute, does that mean there is no more communication?" She asked curiously.

"I can still message her only on instagram, but I insisted not to do that. I've been rejected, I don't want to make the first move again. To be honest, I forgot about her, you just reminded me again." It's true that i almost forgot about her, but if i think about my memories with her my heart beats faster.

I suddenly miss how clingy she was, how she gets comfortable hugging me, how she inhales my scent and how she rolls her eyes when I tease her. Shit Jennie i miss you .

"Can you tell me something about her?"

"she is a simple and independent girl. Her cat-like eyes make her look sexy and intimidating, her dumpling cheeks, her cute nose and her gummy smile that when she flashed that, I felt myself weaken.
Her name is Jennie but I prefer the combination of her second and third names, Ruby Jane. It sounds so sexy like her, both her parents died so she works for herself. " I smile at her

"You're  so cowardly, Lisa, It's obvious that you're in love, you describe her.

What if she's the one destined for you? It's like you just let the woman who was meant for you slip away.  Lisa, I've been thinking that you're going to jerk off all your life. I feel sorry for you." I just shook my head at the silly things my friend was saying.

Rosie is my good friend, she knows all my secrets in life, she has become my only family since I moved here and I was just starting out in the world of music. She is always there to accompany me not only in the good times  but she is also with me in the worst times that I am going through, i'm so lucky to have her.

After we finished drinking we decided to go home, so I took Rosie to her apartment. She passed out due to drunkenness I made sure she was safe before I drove to my apartment.

I played lively music to force myself not to fall asleep while driving because I was dizzy from the amount of alcohol I drank.

My eyelids were so heavy it was as if someone was pulling to close them,  tried my best to stay awake but I was surprised by a car honking in front of my car . 

I turned the steering wheel to avoid the car and the last thing I knew was my car was crashing so hard before my eyes closed completely .
