Chapter 25

Lisa's POV

I looked at my watch wondering if  I was late because of the strange looks of the people, here at the dance studio, especially the frown on my daughter's face.

I'm not late, I'm 20 minutes early and it's not new to them because I'm always early when I'm monitoring dance practice.

Good thing we both managed to stop ourselves  when we both realized that we had something important to do because if we didn't, we might still be in bed right now and you know what's going to happen.

My daughter's group needs me, Jennie also needs to visit the boutique that she founded from selling and creating content online before and with that small business, they were able to survive the entire time that Chiquita was not yet an Idol.

The debut of Chiquita was a big help that they were able to afford to buy a relatively large apartment where they live now.

Chiquita approached me. "Just make sure mom is the one who put that purple mark on your neck because if not, even if it's bad to punch a parent, I'll give you one punch da." Chiquita whispered that made my eyes widen.

I looked in the mirror and there was a purple  mark on my neck. "God, your mom did this, I thought she was just kissing my neck earlier, I didn't know that she was marking me." I whispered to her and she giggled.

"oh ok, I didn't expect that mom had a vampire race . I'm happy that the  two of you had a good conversation. Hmmm Is it just a conversation?" my daughter is teasing me.

She's only 13 but what she is saying seems to mean something. God, young people these days don't have innocence.

"Stop baby, as much as we want to we didn't ,  we just talked, something almost happened, but we stopped because I was needed here." I snorted, she giggled before returning to her group mates.

I chuckled when I noticed that Ahyeon, was giving me and my daughter a death glare.

Her possessiveness is extreme but no one can match the possessiveness of Chiquita's mommy because Jennie  is a champion .

I wonder how this young lady will  react when she finds out that I am Chiquita's other parent, I think she will be very embarrassed.

I was so impressed with the performance they showed me during the dance practice and my daughter, I couldn't stop myself being proud of her  to think that all the sermons and scolding she experienced from me, when she was a trainee were worth it because I can say that the improvement I see in her was great.

"very good guys, i think you're all ready for tomorrow . We're  done here,  good luck to the first music show you will attend, don't forget to enjoy your performance, don't pressure yourself too much." I told them.

"Thank you mentor Lisa." they all said , I just smiled and nodded
before I started to keep my things inside my bag.

"Woahh !!!!! is that a Rolex Pearlmaster collection watch , is it real ? Oh my gosh Chiquita how can you afford such an expensive watch? " I suddenly stopped what I was doing when I heard what Pharita said.

" why." my daughter asked curiously.

I smiled at Chiquita's reaction, she had no idea.

"seriously you don't know the price of what you are wearing? " Ahyeon mumbled.

I looked at them and I saw that Pharita, was searching on her phone and showed it to my daughter who had her jaw dropped.

She looked at me in shock and looked at the phone again while the other members were inspecting Chiquita's watch.

" $87,000?  Gosh, I didn't know it was worth more than a hundred million won ." She couldn't believe it.

I sat down and pretended that I was busy with my phone to secretly listen to their conversation.

"don't tell us that you are really rich, pretending to be poor all this time. How can you afford such an expensive watch?"  Ruka ask.

Shit, we didn't talk about what her reason would be, now i'm nervous. "relax guys, my Dad gave it to me."

 baby don't expose me, we need to talk to your mom first. I am praying.

They all give her a confused look.
" Ok this is what happened. I met my Dad last night and my dad is an influential person who doesn't want to reveal his identity. Please don't think that my dad is a bad person because I am sure that he is not. Don't worry You will also meet my dad soon, let me just treasure the moment with him for now." My daughter's intelligence really surprised me.

"wow we are so happy for you Chiquita, you finally met your dad." Asa said and the others hugged Chiquita.

My daughter just looked at me with a smile.

"so it means , you are a rich man's daughter? what if he doesn't want me for you." the other members giggled at what Ahyeon said including me.

"Maybe when you reduce your jealousy,  that even mentor Lisa couldn't escape. One more thing don't be afraid of my dad you should be ready when you meet my mom " I chuckled, they are  really open to everyone how they feel that they are  used to talking like this in front of the other members of their group.

" ok guys I'm going home see all around. good luck ." I told them they all bow down. I looked at my daughter and she nodded.

Jennie's POV

Exhausting day not because of work but because of my ride going to  boutique and ride back home. I spent more time on the road.

"hi mom." My daughter hugged me when I opened the door, I expected Lisa to be with her but no Lisa came in.

"where is your dada?" I asked her before I closed the door.

"I don't know ,she left the dance studio earlier than us, maybe she went on a date with someone else." My face went numb when I heard what Quentin said. "I'm just kidding mom, how can she find a date if you put a mark on her neck. Relax, maybe she just went to her house."
My daughter is really testing my patience.

I'm not happy every time someone says that Lisa, is dating someone else, even if it's just a joke. I feel like I want to go bald with someone right now.

God, we just got back together before she left this morning .

"That's not a good joke Quentin, stop joking like that if you don't want your Dada and Lord to meet early." I threatened her and it was obvious that she was not affected.

She was about to speak when suddenly someone knocked on the door, she stood up to open it and the door spat  Lisa. "Good thing you came, Da, because the cat almost burst out of fire from overthinking where you are." She reported to Lisa.

I crossed my arms while looking at them. Lisa threw the bag she was carrying on the couch before she came to me, hugged me and kissed me on the forehead. "I didn't go anywhere, I just went home to get some clothes. You said I should sleep over here, right?" I  closed my eyes when she kissed my lips.

"ewww I can't imagine it's this awkward to see my parents kissing in front of me." Lisa broke the kiss and we looked at Quentin.

"I'm happy for you mom and dad, but please don't be too sweet and in front of me." She said

I hugged Lisa before I signaled my daughter to come to us, she came and hugged us.

Lisa kissed me on the forehead and she did the same to our daughter. 

I looked at her and she mouthed I love you.
