Chapter VIII "Roaring Battles"

(Y/n) POV:

As soon as Mic gave the word, Todoroki immediately sent out a large amount of Ice, almost trying to end the match the same way he did the last, but Midoriya thought quickly and flicked his finger, which caused the ice to suddenly break and causing a large amount of air pressure to follow behind.  He then tried again, but the same result was achieved, they had a bit of a stand still before Todoroki sent another ice barrage at Midoriya, but once again, he countered it with his finger flick, they did it again, but the result was the same, that was until I realized that all the figures in Midoriya's right hand were broken and he could no longer use them.

That's when Todoroki started rushing by creating more ice and running on it while trying to get closer, but Midoriya thought quickly and used his left hands already broken fingers to break Todo's ice as Todo then tried to freeze Midoriya, but he managed to move out the way, that was until Todo sent out more ice which trapped Mido's foot.  Just before Mido was fully encased in ice, he sent out a heavy punch which caused a greater force of air to be sent out and having Mido's entire arm to be broken, yet it wasn't enough to blow Todoroki out of bounds 'This is gonna be a bloody match,' that's when I noticed the ice growing on Todo's  side which caused me to be confused for a short time.

I then realized what was happening to him and leaned back in my seat "So he has a similar problem to me...," I said to myself "What do you mean?" I heard Momo suddenly ask as Todoroki sent out an even bigger barrage of ice "Just like I overheat when using fire or get tried when overusing my water," I started to explain as Midoriya countered last second with his already broken finger.  "He starts to freeze an get colder as he overuses his ice," I finished explaining as Todoroki managed to stop himself from flying out the ring by creating more ice to keep himself in place.

There was a bit of a standstill until Todo started to rush forward, but his movement was slower then last time 'Probably getting to cold for him to handle,' he then jumped while trying to use more of his ice, but was suddenly countered by Midoriya rushing forward and delivering a solid punch directly into Todo's stomach.  Todo was sent flying back, but not before leaving some ice on Midoriya's left arm, Todo then tried to send a quick rush of ice towards him, but he managed to move out the way, due to the attackers getting slower, he then tried getting closer but they only circled around each other as Mido flicked his finger, sending them both flying back.

They went back and fourth on Todoroki sending ice and Midoriya's flicks countering them, another ice barrage was about to be sent out, but Midoriya used his them and mouth to create another air pressured counter which again sent them both back, Mido then rushed forward and delivered another heavy punch on Todo, sending him back before coming to another stand still.  I saw as more frost started growing on Todo even though he wasn't using his quirk at all, Mido then rushed forward and punched Todoroki again causing the Frost the break off of him and sending him back more.

That was when Midoriya screamed something I was only barely able to hear "It's Your Quirk, Not his," I don't exactly know what kind of sentimental moment they were having while beating the life out of each other, but what ever happened, it caused Todo to start melting the frost and started steaming.  I recognized what he was doing and gave a little smirk 'Let's see how powerful your fire is then Todo,' Fore then emerged from Todo's left side while ice suddenly started to grow on his right, it got to the point that the fire was starting to reach the stands and the heat was rising to a higher temperature.

That was when someone suddenly screamed "YES SHOTO!!" I looked over only to Endeavor walking down the steps as he got closer to the arena "Have you finally accepted your purpose!? That's it, Very good, This is the dawn of a new era for us! With my blood in your veins you'll surpass me, You will live up to the reason I created you!" he yelled as I became a little pissed 'Created you...'.  "Endeavor suddenly shouts words of... encouragement? What a doting father," Mic said as I felt even more pissed 'Encouragement my ass,' just before I did anything illegal, Todo suddenly started creating even more ice while simultaneously creating hotter fire as Midoriya started charging up his quirk.
