Chapter XIV "Returing Tendencies"

(Y/n) POV:

Me and Todo had packed our things and were getting ready to leave the Endeavor Agency after our internship had been completed, and were waved off by Endeavor himself "I hope you both have learned a valuable lesson during my lessons," he said "Yea, yea, whatever," I rolled my eyes "You especially," he glared at me before walking back into the building. I simply shrugged as me and Todo headed towards the station, getting on board and taking our seats as we waited to return home "...(Y/n)... there's something I've been meaning to ask," Todo suddenly spoke "What is it?" I asked, perking up a little.

"When you were telling your story about facing the hero killer... you looked... unsettled," he explained "...What's that supposed to mean?" I asked while chuckling "I don't know... you just looked like something inside you changed," he further elaborated which made me look down "...Yea... I felt it," I muttered while holding onto my stomach. Todo noticed this and looked at me confused "Do you have motion sickness?" he asked, making me laugh "With how fast I move all the time? I doubt it," I replied, yet my hand hadn't moved from my stomach, and I could feeling something wasn't right in it.

~Time Skip~

We were in class and everyone was talking about how each others internships went while Kirishima and Sero were busy laughing at Bakugo for his new hairstyle best jeanist gave him, to the point even I was struggling to control my laughter, but all that was cut short when Kaminari spoke up "But the ones who changed the most, or at least went through the most, were you four, right?" he asked.  "Oh! Yea! the Hero Killer!" Sero realized "I'm glad you guys made it out alive! seriously," Kirishima spoke up "I was worried," Yaoyorozu added "I heard Endeavor saved you, right?" A student named Rato asked.

"That's amazing! As expected from the number two hero!" A girl named Toru spoke "...Yea, he saves us," Todo lied, his pride clearly being thrown out the window "Yeah," Mido added "Never thought I'd see the light of day again if he hadn't shown up," I joined in of the lying "I saw the news," a kid named Ojiro spoke "That the hero killer was connected to the League of Villains," he explained.  I paused for a second "The league of what?" I asked, but was ignored "Imagining someone that scary coming to the USJ freaks me out," he said, which then made it click in my head 'Oh... the guys from the USJ attack,' I realized.

My train of thought was then interrupted when Kaminari spoke "He is scary, but have you seen the video, Ojiro?" he asked "Video, you mean of the hero killer?" he asked back "Yeah, seeing that, you can see how he's really single-minded, and, like, tenacious," Kaminari explained "Doesn't it almost make you think he's cool?" he then asked. Mido quickly stopped him in the middle of his rant "Kaminari!" he said his name, as he then realized what he said "Oh, Ii- sorry!" he apologized "No, it's fine," Iida cleared up "It's true that he was tenacious, I understand how people can think he's cool," he explained.

I was about to speak up, but was cut off as he continued "But he chose to purge as a result of his beliefs, no matter what he thinks, that part is definitely wrong," he stated "In order to keep anyone else from turning out like me, I will once again walk on the path to becoming a hero!" he vowed "Now, it's time to commence class! Everyone, take your seats!" he yelled. He continued speaking and ranting, but by that time I had zoned out and sat in my seat "Are you sure you're alright?" Yaoyorozu suddenly asked me "Yea, why?" I asked in return "Just wanted to make sure, an experience like that would have left me scared," she explained.

I smiled and chuckled "I'm pretty sure you already had an experience like that," I pulled out my phone and showed her the ad for the hair product she was in "Y-You saw that?!" she asked, clearly flustered "How could I not?" I asked back, making her blush more "Don't be too embarrassed by it, at least you looked cute," I complimented.  She got even more flustered and looked away, making me chuckled before she slowly looked back "I... appreciate that you think of me that way..." she shyly said before facing forward back to the front of the class as I blushed at what she said, but nonetheless smiled.
