Chapter XIII "Cleaning the Stain"

(Y/n) POV:

We spent the night at the Hosu general hospital, waking up to a new day and sitting in our beds wrapped in bandages "Were you able to sleep, Midoriya?" Todo asked Mido "No, not really," he responded "I didn't think so, me neither," Todo said before looking over at me "What about you (Y/n)?" he asked "...My back is sliced open and I had to sleep on it... what do you think?" I asked. Todoroki quickly understood and nodded before apologizing "Thinking about it now, we did something amazing, huh?" Midoriya asked "Yeah," me and Todo said simultaneously "Seeing an ending like that really makes you feel like it's a miracle we're alive," Midoriya said "Trust me... it is," I simply replied, managing to sit myself up from my bed.

They all then looked at me "Now that you mention it... you said something about fighting him before, right?" Todo asked, making me look down in disappointment "...I did..." I simply admitted "Can you tell us how and why?" Midoriya asked "...Are you aware of the hero Aquifer?" I asked as Midoriya immediately perked up "Yea, the Earth and water hero, born with a hybrid quirk!" he quickly fanned out.  I nodded and chuckled "Remind you of anyone?" I asked, making him glow "...No way," he said "She's my sister..." I confirmed which made him light up "How did I not realize sooner?!" he yelled "Can I please continue?" I asked, making him stay completely silent.

I sighed before continuing "As I said, she's my sister, the same hero who moved to I-Island for specific reasons," I explained "Right! I heard of that! Apparently she decided to move there cause she was close to retirement, and-," "Are you telling the story or am I?!" I yelled, interrupting him "R-Right... sorry," he quickly apologized.  I calmed myself down before continuing "While yes, that was the reason told... that's also the only reason told... at least to the press..." I explained, catching their attention "The real reason is because she came in contact with the hero killer... and in the end... she suffered like the rest..." I took a deep breath, remembering the incident.

~Flashback~

I quickly rushed into the hospital, running through the halls while the nurses tried to hold me back

Nurse: Sir please! You can't enter at this current moment! - She said, holding onto my shoulder
Nurse#2: We'll call security if you continue! - She said while holding my other shoulder

I didn't listen and barged inside, opening the door and seeing her on the bed, bandages covering her eyes and head while also having some wrapping her arms and legs.

Past (Y/n): Sis! - I yelled, running up to her bed as the nurses finally gave up and let go
(Y/n)'s Sister: ...(Y-Y/n)? - She asked, turning towards his direction
Past (Y/n): Yes... it's me, I'm here... - I said, tearing up while holding her hand
(Y/n)'s Sister: The hero killer... was a monster - She said, her breath wavy

Immediately after hearing the name, my anger raised, squeezing her hand and feeling my heart start to pump faster, before she quickly put her hand on my chest and slowed my heart beat.

(Y/n)'s Sister: Don't do anything stupid, (Y/n)... I'll be fine - She tried to assure
Past (Y/n): ... The hero killer... where was the last time you saw him? - I asked, ignoring her warning
(Y/n)'s Sister: Don't you dare (Y/n)... don't you even think about it - She said, squeezing my hand

I ignored her, taking my hand out her grip and turning to leave, only hearing her yelling my name, her heart beat getting faster as doctors rushed into the room.
