Behind the door lies the Beast's deepest darkest secrets and also the most precious thing he ever owned.

-

Chay has somehow been able to breathe freely when Kimhan is not around. Kimhan's aura was so intimidating it almost suffocated Chay. As much as he possibly can, he avoids his boss. He often stays at his quarters when he doesn't do anything or always keeps his head down whenever he's around.

He used to watch Wik's covers online, but after what happened he can't seem to watch him anymore. He wants to separate Kimhan's personality from Wik's. But every time he looks at Wik's face, he remembers the night that Kimhan almost shoots him dead. He can still hear the gunshot ringing in his head. He can't believe that the person he adored the most was a beast in real life. For his own sanity, he just stopped watching Wik's covers.

He tried to distract himself, of course. Like taking care of the almost-dead plants on the balcony. But somehow Chay wonders what's behind the black door that Kimhan said to him which was, unfortunately, just across the door of Chay's quarters. He had never seen someone enter the door. Well, not yet at least.

He asked Big one time about that room, "P'Big, have you been in that room? The one with the black door?" he asked reluctantly.

Big frowned at him, "Why do you ask?"

Chay shrugged, "Just curious, Phi."

"Well, don't be. And stay away from that room, Porchay." Big said and left. That was Chay's mental confirmation that Big had been in that room. Of course, Chay has no plans on entering that room. He's not insane and he doesn't want to die yet. He was just curious, that's all.

Later that day, Chay came home to the penthouse after grocery shopping. His eyes widened seeing the whole place in shambles, like a hurricane passed by. He literally just cleaned the place before he left, only to come back in that kind of state.

"P'Big, what happened here?" Chay said, his hands still holding onto bags of groceries.

Big sighed, "Khun Kim."

Chay sighed as well. Big's answer is enough to understand the chaos in this place. The Beast is finally home and he's definitely not in a good mood, "Where is he?" Chay asked.

"In his room, maybe. Or in the forbidden room. He comes home and starts thrashing the place down. We can't seem to stop him with all that anger he has." Big said. He looked at Chay, "Start cleaning, Porchay. Don't let him see this mess." he said and left Chay alone with the mess. Chay sighed again as looked around him. If Kimhan doesn't want to see this mess, then he should not have done it in the first place. Chay was supposed to be done for the day after fixing the grocery but the Beast thought differently.

After placing the grocery bags at the kitchen top, he starts cleaning. He doesn't even know where to start. He picked up the sunflower he bought the other day. It's the only thing in that place that's lively and colorful, that's why he bought it. He meant to place it in the middle of the room to somehow radiate the vibrant vibe of the pretty flower. But now, it's broken and some of its petals are gone. He suddenly felt sad, but still, he got some glass of water and placed the broken flower there and silently hoped it would prolong its life.

By the time Chay finished his chores, it was already past midnight. He's extremely exhausted and he's so hungry, but he doesn't have enough energy to eat. So he just went to his quarters, changed his clothes quickly, and crawled to his bed. Not even a minute after closing his eyes, he's already out and snoring.

The following day, Chay woke up with an extreme body ache and his head pounding and spinning. He also felt nauseous. He tired himself out to the point he got sick. This is bad. He can't be sick, not now. Still, in that weak state, Chay tried to get up to start his day. His whole body is heavy and trembling in the cold.
