1. Sketch what you want to draw. I personally use the pencil brush as it also allows me to shade to help with colouring, it also acts like a real pencil letting me lightly sketch finer details.

2. After the sketch, I do lineart. This is where I finalize details and where I show "what goes where". For this I use the pen brush as the sharp edges match the style I have and it allows for smooth lines.

3. After the lineart I use the fill tool to add the base of my colours
