EMIHLE.

I remember the first time I met him. I was waiting for my brother to come and pick me up after my class and he was running late. I was sitting in the bench facing the parking lot so I can see him when this guy stepped out of the car and made his way towards me. He greeted me then sat down. He kept checking his watch and he was getting impatient with the person he was waiting for. I asked him who he was wating for and he told me his sister. She asked him to pick her up but now she wasn't answering her phone. My brother came and I left him there. I never saw him again then I think a month later while I was for Melusi to pick me up again, I saw a car parking then after a while a man walked out and he looked so different. Handsome and I couldn't take my eyes away from him then when he sat down, it's them I remembered that he's the guy who was waiting for his sister.

He was wearing a suit and he smelled so good. He was surprised to see me again and we started talking. He sounded mature, serious too and a scary. I think it's because he was older than me and he just reminded me of my father. I couldn't believe that this fine and gorgeous man was talking to me, again. We talked for a while and I realized that he was a nice man although scary cause he hardly smiled but I could feel that he was. I found our that lives in Pietermaritzburg and was here to see his father and sister. As we were talking, a beautiful woman walked up to us with a smile on her face. He introduced her as Zonke, his younger sister. We exchanged greeting then my brother showed up and before I could leave, he asked for my numbers. I was a little hesitant but they both looked at me with pleading eyes and I couldn't say no. So I did give him my numbers.

I expected him to call me that day hut he didn't and the next two weeks. I didn't see him again at res only saw Zonke who was always excited to see me. I never asked her where's her brother and why he never called me. I didn't care although I was a little sad cause I thought maybe he would ask me out of something jut he never did. I had to convince my heart that it was hurt. It was Friday morning and my father had just dropped me off and left when I heard someone calling my name. When I looked back, it was him stepping out of the car.

FLASH BACK.

" Emihle, hi?" His voice my God. How does someone look this  breath taking this morning.
" Hi, uhmm. I'm sorry i forgot your name"
He smirks. " I guess I deserve that, it's Hlanga. Hlanga Makhoba" I thought he would stretch his hand towards me but he puts them in his pocket instead. His scent just fills my lungs. I wonder what kind if cologne he uses.
My head shifts up as I look at his face. " Hi Hlanga. I would ask you how you have been but you look good obviously" I can't believe I've just said that.
" I'm sorry for not calling but I have a perfect explanation for that."
" Really?"
" I promise I do. I will explain to you why I didn’t call if you allow me to come and pick you after your classes are over."
" I don't know about that."
" We can go anywhere that you'll feel comfortable at. I just want to apologize and explain. Please"
" Uhm, okay. I will call you so you can pick me up"
" Thank you, I hope I won't be causing any trouble with your brother"
" No, I'll handle it"
" I'll be waiting for you. Enjoy your classes"
I simply nod, trying not to blush cause he said, he'll wait for me, not for my call but me.

I fell still standing there and watching me. I turn my head to look at him and the look on his face makes my breath hitch. What does this man want with me. He's handsome and I'm definitely sure that there is a woman in his life. That thought pains me. I shake my head then head to my class. I couldn't concentrate in class since all I could is think about Hlanga and anticipating what he's going to say. What if he's married and maybe his wife found my numbers a d they fought? No, I didn't see him rung on his finger and besides Zonke  would have told me it he's brother is married right? I mean we're  not friends or something but she would have said something.
