ANDILE.

The door closes as they leave us behind. I look at it for a while expecting my brother to walk right back and tell me that he is joking. He's not leaving me here all alone or not because Nikiwe decided to stay behind to ' help me' as she put it but I know that's a lie. She's my brother's employee so she's here to make sure that I don't do anything stupid like run away.

I shake my head cause that's a dumb idea. I have already lost one hand, I've got a fucken bomb inside my body that he can detonate at any time should I do something stupid. I meant everything I said to him, I want a relationship with my brother and my little sister. I miss her so much and I want to also apologize to her for the things I did. I ruined her life, killed Coco's father and I'm not sorry for killing that fool because he was cheating on my sister.

I warned him before but he didn't listen, he thought I was playing while I wasn't. The only thing I'm sorry about is Coco will never know who her father is but she has an amazing father right now who loves her like his own and that's all that matters. I will talk to my brother about this and maybe he will help me make things right with Coco and my aunt but that one is a stretch.

My aunt hates me and I don't blame her. I have never respected her, I'm the reason she's the way she is and I took her happiness away the day I killed our cousins. Would she believe me when I tell it was her brother's idea? No she wouldn't but I will apologize to her even though I'm not expecting her to hear me out or even accept my apology.

" So, do you like it?" She asks.

" Why are you here Nikiwe?"

" That's not my name Andile" she walks away and heads towards the kitchen. I watch her as she sways her hips then opens the fridge.

" I stocked everything I thought you might need and what your brother told me. The are clothes on the closet too and whatever you need"

She pulls out 2 bottles of water and opens one, pours the water inside the glass she just took out. She takes it and walks back to me.

" Here, drink"

I take it, drink it while looking at her face.

" Why are you here?"

" You need me, I mean you need someone to help you"

" And that person is you?" My brows furrowed

" Yes"

" Hmm"

She folds her hands and we have a staring contest. She finally gives up and looks away. She huffs.

" Look, I feel bad for what I did earlier okay and I just thought that maybe I could help you out for a while until you get used to doing things on your own"

" You stepped on my hand, made me bleed more, you felt bad and decided to come and help me while it heals?"

" Yes but it's your fault that I did what I did"

It definitely was because I kept calling her Nikiwe and she hated it. She hated it because she knew she liked how I called her. I have never met someone like her, someone who's not afraid to stand up to me or tell me to fxck off. Nikki can take as good as she gives. She's something else.

I give her the glass. " show me where my bedroom is. I need to shower and wash off this blood"

" Okay, come"

She turns around and I follow her. We walk through the kitchen and head towards where the bedrooms are. We pass the first door then she opens the last door.

" This is your bedroom, you'll be sleeping here"

I look around, gray and white colors. It's very big and the bed is nothing like that concrete slab I've been sleeping on the last months. I can breathe in here and I won't feel like walls are closing in on me.
