HLANGA.

My sister is not pleased with me right now and I understand but she has to understand that I'm doing this to protect our family, especially because being involved with this business is going to cause so much problems for her. I told her why I'm doing this, it's because our father put me into this mess and now, I have to clean it up.

" our workers Hlanga, what's going to happen to them?"
" Businesses close down every time Zonke, it's not like this is the first time. I know it's going to be hard for them but I have no choice."
" I could run the company, you know I'm capable of doing that."
" I know you could but it's not safe. Those people will still use you to launder money and I do not want that."
" What if you at least sold the company?"
" I can't because the new owner would have to have our company's books. His own accountant will see what was going on and what if they call the investigators on us?"
" but you can easily deal with that."

" I don't want to deal with it, Zonke. I'm closing the company and that's that. You have a job waiting for you in my company. Talk to Tebogo about relocating to Pietermaritzburg. Both of you have jobs waiting for you."

" So I don't have a say in all of this?"
" You don't"
She looks at our aunt " You know your brother is right Zonke. We need to cut all ties that those people think they have with us. This is a new start for you and your family. You need this Zonke"
" I know but it's hard. I have worked so hard for the company to make it what it is then dsf and Andile had to ruin it for all of us. I hate them"
" It's okay. You're a creative person and  my creative team would be honoured to have someone like you."

" I'll talk to my husband and hear what he has to say"
" I'm sorry this is messing up your life but leaving joburg is what you need"
" I know. I'm just dreading to see the workers' faces tomorrow when they hear all of this. It's going to hurt them."
" I know, all of them will be paid three months salary to help them while they look for jobs"

Someone knocks in my father's office then walks in. " The lawyer has arrived sir, I took him to the boardroom." His P.A says.
" Thank you." She walks out. " Let's go"
We headed to the boardroom and everyone is there. My uncle, Siyanda's brother then the three of us. The only person missing is Andile. We sit down.

The lawyer starts reading Siyanda's will. She was a house wife and the only thing she had in her name was her car and half the house they owned with my father. Her brother gets the car and the R20.000 she left for him. He's disappointed because he expected more. Her share of the house, she leaves it between her two children. Zonke and Andile.

The lawyer moves to my father's will. He left my aunt R1m, she must live in the house and it can't be sold because it will be a family house then his brother gets R300k.  He leaves Zonke R500k and a trust for his grandchildren Aya and Coco of R2 million each. Blood money he left for my child.
My father has always loved his sister very much and I think maybe he also felt guilty because his son killed her only child.
" What about Andile, he left him nothing?" Siyanda's brother asks.
" Yes. Andile gets nothing from his father" the lawyer tells him.
" What about his shares?"
" I was coming to that Zonke before he disturbed  me. I quote.

" As you all know that Hlanga is the majority share holder in this company because his mother and I established it. The company is not 20 years old but much older than that, before Hlanga was even born but it was only registered 20 years ago  after his mother had passes. Hlanga has been the one bailing this company through every crisis we faces so it beneficial that I leave all my shares to him.

He will know what to do with it and I want you all of you do accept his decisions and support it. Trust Hlanga because I failed to do that and son, I'm really sorry for the mess I put you through because you now know the truth of what I did. I hope you will forgive me one day for hurting you and not protecting you like how I was supposed to as your parent. Look after sister and make sure she's always safe and protected."
