After a restless night of sleep, Takemichi struggled to get a decent amount of rest. He kept dozing off for only an hour at a time and then waking up for another hour repeatedly. His sleeping schedule was bizarre, to say the least.
Feeling exhausted, Takemichi reached for his phone and noticed that Chifuyu was calling him. He answered the call.
DRING ... DRING ... DRING ...
Chifuyu ~ Hello, partner! How are you today?
Chifuyu's tone sounded strange, as if he were hiding something.
Takemichi ~ Hey, partner. I'm fine, but why are you specifically asking about today?
Takemichi responded with a curious tone, wondering about the reason behind Chifuyu's question.
Chifuyu ~ Oh, it's just that yesterday you seemed a bit distant...
Takemichi thought to himself,
Takemichi ~ " What a joke... You all were practically ignoring my existence. "
Takemichi chuckled inwardly and replied,
Takemichi ~ Oh, it's just that I was really tired. I didn't get much sleep yesterday. You know, with my love for gaming and all...
Chifuyu ~ You shouldn't play when you're tired, partner!
Takemichi ~ Yeah, yeah, I know.
He answered while rolling his eyes, already familiar with Chifuyu's concern.
Chifuyu ~ I can see you rolling your eyes from here!
Takemichi ~ SoRrY, dAd.
Chifuyu laughed at Takemichi's remark.
Chifuyu ~ Anyway, do you want to go to the cinema?
Takemichi ~ Who's going to be there?
Chifuyu ~ Hmm, let's see. Baji-san, Kazutora, Mikey-san, Draken, Peh-yan, Pah-chin, Mitsuya, Hakkai, Rebecca, and me, of course.
Takemichi ~ Oh , she is going to be there?
Chifuyu ~ Yeah! She's such a fun girl! Don't you think, partner?
Takemichi replied with an obvious lie,
