Father's Day

Today is a very special day

it's Niko's first Father's Day! He always goes above and beyond to take care of Mealani and me, putting our needs before his own. So, today, we've decided to spoil him because he truly deserves it!

While Niko is in the living room with Mealani, I sneak into the bedroom to prepare a surprise.
I decorate the room with balloons that I had stored in the bathroom closet, along with pictures of us. I've also gathered all the things he's wanted, like a new laptop, shoes, clothes, a basket filled with his favorite snacks, his favorite cologne, and other items he's mentioned in the past. In addition, I've written a letter just for him.

But that's not all. I've arranged one more surprise for him outside. Knowing how much he talks about his dream car, I couldn't resist buying it for him. Chunkz, texted me a while ago saying he's here. The car has been patiently waiting at his house for four days.

With everything prepared, I enter the living room and gently close the door behind me. As I approach Niko, I extend my arms. He hands me Mealani, and I place her on my lap, showering her with kisses on her cheeks, which makes her giggle.

y: Babe, can you get her blanket from our room, please? ~ Niko stands up and heads toward our room.

y: Daddy is going to be excited ~ I say in my baby voice. I hear him scream. I stood up carrying Mealani on my side and head over to the room. He's standing there shock.
y: Happy Father's Day!

he rushes towards me, wrapping me in a tight embrace. His face nestles into my shoulder, and I can hear his soft cries.
We eventually pull away from the hug, and he wipes away his tears.
y: Awe babe, why are you crying? Don't cry. ~ He kisses me tenderly before responding,
Niko: You didn't have to do all this.
y: But I wanted to. You deserve every bit of it.
Niko: Oh my gosh, thank you
y: But wait, there's one more surprise. ~ I say in a sneaky voice
Niko: Babe, stop ~ he insists, thinking he has already been spoiled enough.
y: Put this blindfold on ~ I hand him a blindfold and he puts it on. I take his hand, guiding him outside the house.

Standing in front of the car. Chunkz quietly steps out of the car.
y: Okay, are you ready?
Niko: i'm nervous ~ he says rubbing his hands together.
y: Okay... take it off ~ Slowly, he removes it, and as soon as his eyes meet his dream car, his hand instinctively covers his mouth in disbelief.

Niko: No... you're lying ~ he stammers, his voice trembling with shock.
Chunkz: It's yours, bro ~ Chunkz chimes in, holding out the keys. Niko turns to me
Niko: y/n. you're lying... say you're joking
y: No joke, it's yours! ~ Niko's eyes well up with tears, which he hastily wipes away. I hand Mealani to Chunkz and he gives me the keys. I went up to him and tears kept running down his face. I wipe them away. He hugs me and lifts me up spinning me around.

Finally, he sets me down gently and takes the keys from me, his eyes never leaving mine.
Niko: Thank you ~ he whispers, his voice choked with emotion.
Niko: I can't believe this is real.

~ Skip later at night~
After putting Mealani to sleep, I join Niko in bed, snuggling close to him.
Niko: I am the luckiest guy in the world to have you as my girlfriend and the mother of our child. Thank you. You don't even know how thankful I am for everything you've done for me.

Touched by his words, I lean in and softly kiss his lips.
y: I love you ~ I say, the words filled with the depth of my affection.
Niko: I love you too ~ He replies
