Today is Tuesday, the dreaded first day back to work After Corbin's talk with Trey, I could only hope that I'd be treated better. Though, I'm sure I'll have a bigger bullseye on my back now.

I don't have work until four in the afternoon, and it's eight a.m., so I have plenty of time to scare myself shitless. I'm currently sitting in my English class.

We're learning advanced argumentative essays. Which, let's be honest, when will I ever use it?

I looked up at the clock on the wall, watching as the time ticked by. One more hour to go. Sam had said that we'd really be getting into the deeper parts of the class now that the first day is over. That first day was a big help to me, and I'm glad we went over the starting information.

I laid my head down on the desk and closed my eyes. A little nap wouldn't hurt; if anything, it'll make the time pass faster.

I slept like a little baby. When I lifted my head, I looked around the room. I was the only student still in the classroom. The teacher was sitting at her desk, flipping through papers. I blinked the tiredness from my eyes and checked the time.

Just my luck! It was nine forty. My heart dropped, and my breathing paused. I shoved all of my things into my bag and rushed to the front office. I signed myself out and sped down the sidewalk. The time hit nine fifty, and I was crapping myself.

I didn't want to be late. It'll be mortifying if I walk into the class ten to twenty minutes late. Sam's going to be so angry with me. By some miracle, I made it to the club, huffing and puffing. I was only five minutes late, which is not too bad.

The guard checked my ID for what felt like a million minutes and allowed me into the club. As the stage came into view, there were only about fourteen people. We were missing some... including me.

I went to my seat as quietly as possible. Nobody seemed to notice, though. Except Sam. He noticed. Sam sent me a smile and a short wave while talking to the group.

"Today we'll be going over what contracts are and their purpose. Take a few minutes and look through your books while I get Leo situated." Sam spoke happily as he hopped off the stage and picked up a small book from beside where he sat.

"Here you go," he said, handing me the book. "This is a handbook for the class. We'll be going over everything in order, chapter by chapter. This will be a good reference to the outline of our activities in class." He explained.

"Thank you, and sorry I was late; I got caught up in something and wasn't checking the time." I admitted.

"It's no problem, things happen. I'm just glad you showed up. Today is a very important day. In our first few days, I teach the vital necessities that every submissive should know. Everything else I teach throughout our two weeks is purely elaborative." He explains.

"Okay everyone, flip to chapter one!" He shouts to the group and makes his way back to the stage. I observed the book, which rested in my hands.

The front cover had ropes designed in a border fashion. There was a person on their knees with a collar and leash attached to their neck. They were looking up at the supposed person standing above them, though you couldn't see the second person.

I opened the book and skimmed through the pages until I hit chapter one, 'Contracts'.

Throughout the start of the chapter, when it explained what contracts were, I seemed to absorb the knowledge like a plant absorbs sunlight. A contract is what Corbin wanted with me.

"There are many different rules someone may have on a contract. Some rules include no talking back, being fully shaved, honesty, and loyalty. There are also some more limiting rules, like 'no talking to other dominants or submissives without permission' and 'no eating after midnight'." Sam explained to the class.
