I had the strongest urge to look through the documents on the table in front of me, but I knew Corbin would be angry with me if I did so.

Instead, I used all of my willpower and left the room, going back to the kitchen where I wouldn't be tempted.

"Is everything set up?" Corbin asked as he made our plates.

I nodded, leaning against the counter.

"Go take a seat, I'll be in shortly," He instructed.

"Okay," I said with a wide smile. I sat at the dining table, staring at those papers. I couldn't believe I got this far with him. Our relationship had developed enough for us to finally begin a contract.

My knowledge about contracts was slim, but there wasn't much about them to learn. They're just some papers that explain your relationship in writing. From what Sam had told me, not many people make physical contracts.

"Eager, are we?" Corbin asked, startling me as he entered the room with our plates.

"What?" I asked.

"You're staring so intently at the contract," He chuckled, placing my plate in front of me before he took a seat.

"It's not my fault you're teasing me with it!" I defended myself, smirking after my words.

"Teasing? This is a reward; you've earned this."

"A reward for what?" I questioned, looking at him confused.

"Everything. You've been persistent in your training as a submissive, and no matter what happened, you always tried your best," He encouraged. "Despite a few hiccups, you've earned the right to a contract,"

I blushed at his words. I couldn't help but soak up all the kind compliments. I was a compliment whore for sure.

"Before we go over the contract, there are a few things we need to go over first. We can fill out the contract after dinner."

"Why can't we do it now?" I asked eagerly.

"Like I said, after dinner, that's final," He said sternly.

"For now, I would like to discuss the purpose of the contract," He said before taking a forkful of dinner.

After chewing, I responded. "Wouldn't the purpose be for our personal gain?"

"Yes and no. By now, Sam must've taught you about contracts, yes?"

"Yeah, he taught us during the sub training class,"

"Then you understand the importance of a contract, despite whether it's physical or not?"

"Yes, I do," I replied while eating dinner.

Corbin quirked his brow, unappreciative of my chewing with a full mouth. I swallowed and uttered a sorry, which he took as my apology.

"As I was saying, the club requires any and all contracts between members to be physical, so that the club can obtain a copy for records,"

"Isn't that a little, er, personal for the club to have? I wouldn't want Erick or anyone else to see a personal contract between us,"

"Erick doesn't read through the contracts unless something happens. For example, if people complain about a dominant ignoring limits, Erick has the ability to read over the contract to see what was agreed upon. If he sees that flogs were a hard limit for a sub, and sees a dominant using a flogger on that same sub, he's able to punish the dominant adequately," He explained.

"How would he punish a dominant?"

"Restricting or banning the aggressor from the club,"

"Oh," I exhaled a breath of tense air. "Can I ask something? It's off topic,"
