I laid down on the couch and sighed. Tyler wouldn't be home until after practice—much much later—so I had lots of time to spend by myself. Staring at the ceiling, I was in deep thought, wondering if it was meant to be. A coincidence, a good omen, some trickery... I guess nobody knows why we became roommates.
I want to get to know him better, maybe go do something together, but it's like he's never here! I get that he's a professional athlete, he doesn't have time, but I'm just angry. I love him and want to confess my feelings, but I never have the time—I can't just wait until he gets home extremely late to have a discussion about it. I'm just glad the season's almost over, maybe I'll have a chance then.
