It was a cold morning—winter had just begun and the forecast called for plenty of snow. Mitch and I snuggled up in bed, looking out the window and watching the action outside, the blankets of snow calling to us. I ran my hands through his hair and smiled.
"Mitchy, do you wanna do anything today? It's nice outside." I said and got out of bed.
"Hm, I could use a little fun today, darling." He said, rubbing his eyes. He got out of bed and stretched. "I was thinking, maybe we could go to the park. You up for that?" He asked me. "Some of my friends are going, too." He added.
"Sure, babe." I answered and kissed him on the cheek. We got dressed and had some breakfast, then we got in the car to drive to the park. We got there and it was snowing hard, the perfect weather for some fun.
I sat down for a moment to adjust my clothes. I was fixing up my scarf when I felt a cold projectile hit me, and I instantly knew who it was. I turned around and saw Mitch laughing at me next to a small hole in the layers of snow.
I stood up and shook the snow off of my jacket. "Aww, Mitch!" I laughed. "Really?"
He laughed and winked at me. "Up for a snowball fight, Y/N?"
"Yeah, babe." I said with a smug grin on my face.
Some other people were playing at the park and decided to join in on the action. My boyfriend and I were fighting on opposite sides, making the game even better. I grabbed a pile of snow and formed it into a large ball, then quickly threw it at my love. He turned around and gave me an angry look.
"Bring it." Mitch said, laughing maniacally. I was building a snow fort when I picked my head up and saw on of the other people handing him some snowballs. He threw them toward my snow fort, but the wall of snow protected me.
A few minutes passed and more people joined in on the fight, turning it into a full-on snowball war. The day grew warmer and the snow started to melt a little bit, so some people from the other team ran over to my base to steal some ammo.
Mitch got to my base, but instead of grabbing any ammo, he grabbed me. I blushed as he picked me up and looked into my eyes. "What do you want, babe?" I asked in a soft voice.
He held me and ran to the side, trying to get away from people. "I love you, Y/N." He said in a dreamy voice. "I want you to join my team and help us defeat the enemy snowballers together."
"I love you too, Mitchy, but it really isn't that deep." I joked, thinking that he'd overdone it. He put me down and pulled down his scarf. He then removed mine and kissed me on the lips. I pulled him into a hug, and we started to make out.
"Babe, you know I don't like PDA..." I complained as the tension between us got too much for me. I tried to speak some more and got cut off by another round of frozen projectiles hitting me. I frowned then I heard the sound of footsteps in the distance getting louder and louder.
"Don't worry about it, darling." Mitch said as I saw someone familiar walk up behind him. "It's gonna be fine-" He added, then gasped after the other person put his hands on his shoulders.
"Hey, Mitch." A voice whispered into his ear, trying not to laugh. Mitch turned around and rolled his eyes once he realized who it was. I looked towards the other person and sighed.
"Auston!? What are you doing here???" I scolded, looking at him. My boyfriend wrapped his arm around me and chuckled.
"Remember, Y/N? I told you that my friends would be here." He whispered and Auston giggled. I sighed and made some projectiles from some snow that I grabbed from the ground.
"Cut it, Auston!" Mitch and I shouted in unison and threw the snowballs at him. Auston retaliated, making some and throwing them at us. Soon, it was a scrimmage, and we fought until the rest of the snow melted. I grabbed my love's hand and we walked away after the battle.
"Y/N, I had so much fun on this date with you!" Mitch said as we walked back to the car together. I smirked and kissed him on the cheek.
"I did too, Mitchy—all of our dates are fun, after all." I said and hugged him after we got to the car.
"Really?" He asked and his eyes lit up. "Even the ones where we act like children play-fighting each other?"
"Yup. Even the ones like that." I muttered, pulling him in for a kiss. He laughed and kissed me roughly, trying to get his tongue inside my mouth. I rolled my eyes and playfully slapped him.
"Babe, why'd you act so lovey today? We were in public!" I shouted in a firm voice, blushing. His face red, he shrugged and smiled.
"I'm sorry I got carried away a little bit. You're just so lovable, Y/N." He said and hugged me tight, running his hands through my hair. "It's hard not to love you—you're my darling, after all."
I felt a warm sensation after his comment unexpectedly turned me on. "It's fine, Mitchy. I love you too, anyway!" I pouted, crossing my arms and biting my lip. "C-Can we go now??" I asked as I became uncomfortable.
"Yeah." Mitch said and unlocked the car. We got inside and he smirked at me. "I suppose you want to continue this date at home, my darling?" He asked as he put on his seatbelt.
I put on my seatbelt and rolled my eyes. "Of course I want to, you idiot!" I scoffed, getting antsy. "Get me home, quick."
"We'll get home in plenty of time, Y/N." He mumbled as he started the car. "Calm down—I'll always be here to fuck you, darling..." He added, backing out of the parking spot. We left the park and continued the festivities once we got home. After that, I realized how lucky I was to be Mitch's girlfriend.
