Note: updates are inconsistent 'cause I got stuff going on life
NHL Imagines and One Shots. This may contain smut so yeah (every other story is smut, by the way.) Idk what else to say here. Have fun reading.
Note: this isn't connected to the last Swayman fic but I just put "again" so Wattpad wouldn't be confused by a duplicate title
Also this has like family reunion stuff so if like you got trauma from ur family or anything, be careful reading this (idk what to say, I had some relatives of mine pass so I figured I'd say this so if you have deceased relatives irl this won't be weird to read :-P), and this story has some arguing near the end too
(And sorry if this is too long of a story, I just had LOTS of ideas)

I wiggled my legs with excitement as I waited at the red light. I was glad to be back in Boston for a few weeks this winter, especially because my family was having a big get together and I hadn't seen them in a while. But I was also excited for another reason—I'd get to hang out with my best friend, Jeremy.
As usual, I was also pretty nervous about seeing him after so long. I don't think he'd forget me or anything, it's just that a lot has changed since then. I wasn't worried about the awkwardness, but of something else entirely different. The truth was, I had liked Jeremy for a while and wanted to finally tell him that I didn't see us as 'just friends.' And now I'd have the chance to do just that.
I was in deep thought when the light turned green and I started moving again. A few minutes passed and I found myself pulling into the driveway at my childhood house in my old neighborhood. I got out of the car and got inside, then started talking to my family.
"Ms. Y/L/N, you've grown so much since I last saw you." My grandma said and hugged me tight, a big smile on her face. I looked around and hugged her back, smiling as well.
"Yeah, it's so nice to see you, Grammie." I said and pulled away from the hug. I sat down on the couch in the living room with her and some other relatives, then talked some more.
"Are you excited to be back in Boston with us? 'Cause I'm glad I was able to drive up here." One of my cousins asked and I nodded my head.
"Do you have any other plans for while you're in Boston with us?" My grandma asked, pointing to my cousin. My cousin shook his head and she turned toward me. "How about you, precious?"
"I do. I'm planning to see my best friend, Jeremy." I said and smiled. "He's an NHL player, so I don't get the chance to see him much, especially now that the season is going on."
"Oh, that's cool." My grandma said and my cousin nodded his head in agreement. "Did he know that you're coming here?"
"No, I wanted it to be a surprise." I replied and my grandma scratched her head, thinking. She was about to speak when my cousin cut her off.
"Wait—he plays for the Bruins, right?" He asked. I nodded my head and he smiled. "You should show up to one of his games. I bet he'd love that, Y/N." He said and my grandma agreed.
"You know, that's a lovely idea!" I said. "In fact, I'll go buy a ticket for the next home game which should be in around a week."
"Great, I hope all goes well." My grandma replied and my family talked among themselves for a while until it got late and some of us left to go home.
