Marc-Andre and I were holding hands while walking in the grass, the midday sunshine radiating on our bodies.
"Why is it so hot in Florida?" He said, wiping the sweat from his face.
"I don't know, that's just how it is. That's why I brought you here, to this spring." I said in a silly tone. "I figured it'd be a good date idea."
"Well, you're right. I've never been to a spring before." He said, kissing me on the cheek. "I'm sure we'll have fun."
We found a nice spot to sit and set up a small tarp and some chairs. He set up an umbrella then took off his shirt, now only wearing his swimsuit. I rummaged through my bags, trying to find mine.
"Hey, Marc-Andre. I'm going to go to the restroom to change. I'll be back." I said after I found it. He gave me a thumbs up and I walked to the public restroom to change.
"Y/N, you look gorgeous!" He said after I walked back to our spot in a nice one-piece swimsuit.
"Thanks, you too." I said, blushing a little bit. I put on some sunscreen and handed the bottle over to him. He put some sunscreen on too and we waited a few minutes to let it dry before we walked to the spring.
Standing at the water's edge, I dipped my foot in the water and quickly pulled it out. "Ah, I forgot how cold springs were!"
"Oh come on. Just go for it, baby. You see?" Marc-Andre said and jumped into the water. I smiled and jumped in the water after him, splashing him a little bit. I swam up to him and he hugged me, then playfully pushed me away and splashed me.
"Marc...!" I said, rolling my eyes. "So that's how it's gonna be, huh?" I smirked and splashed him back. He splashed me again and giggled. We kept splashing each other and laughing for several minutes. We then swam around together, enjoying the nice view of the spring's scenery.
We got out of the water and walked back to our spot, drying ourselves off before sitting down together. He picked up a bag and took out some containers of food. "Thanks for packing lunch, Y/N."
"You're welcome." I said, smiling. I grabbed one of the containers, opened it, and started eating. He started eating too and we both looked at each others eyes.
"Thanks for coming, Marc-Andre. I had lots of fun here." I said with a mouthful of food.
"You're welcome." He replied with a mouthful of food as well.
A few minutes later, we finished eating. I went to the public restroom to change, and he did too. We walked out and packed everything else.
"I love you." He said as we walked to the car.
"I love you too." I said and we kissed on the lips. Tired, we quickly got in the car and drove back home.
