It was a sunny Friday afternoon and I relaxed in the backyard while waiting for my husband to come home. Radko and I had just bought our new house right outside of Anaheim after he got traded there, and we were adjusting well. I was sitting around by the pool when I heard the front door open and footsteps getting closer.
"Hey darling!" He said after he walked outside and joined me in the backyard. "Enjoying your Friday?"
"Yes!" I answered and he sat down next to me near the pool.
My husband scooted closer to me and held my hand before giving me a kiss on the cheek. I sat down in his lap and the both of us started cuddling while the California sun gave us just the right amount of warmth.
I looked into Radko's eyes and smiled. "So how was your day today, Y/N?" I asked.
"It was good, I had lots of fun. 'Wanna know how training camp is going so far?" He replied.
I stood there for a few seconds and thought for a while. Ohhh, training camp! I almost forgot. "Sure, honey."
"It's been very well so far. I'm enjoying myself and making friends with my new teammates here in Anaheim." My husband said and ran his hands up and down my body. We talked for a little while then I started thinking about how much I missed Florida.
I stretched my limbs and laid down in his lap. "Don't you miss being on the Panthers?"
"Yeah." Radko said. "But I'm looking forward to all the fun I'll have on my new team." He added, smiling.
I looked over at the pool and saw the water gleaming and glinting in the sunlight. I had wanted to swim all day but I forgot to buy a new bathing suit so I wasn't able to... I looked over at my husband and he smiled then I jumped in the water.
"Haha! You're so silly, Y/N~ And I love you for that~" My husband said after watching me jump in the pool with my regular clothes on. He jumped in with his clothes as well and the two of us splashed around in the water. I guess Anaheim is a great place after all...
