Another Time, Another Place

World 2 Part 1

Raven, Octavia and Indra were up before the sun, excited to finally be making progress. Octavia and Raven enjoyed breakfast in Raven's room before both dressing as inconspicuously as possible. Raven wore black jeans, a tshirt from old earth with a band on it a flannelette shirt tied around her waist and a leather jacket with combat boots, she hid a revolver down her pants and had two knives in holsters at side under the jacket. Octavia also wore black jeans, a long sleeve top and a black jacket with some sandshoes. Octavia had a revolver in her waistband under her shirt knives strapped to both of her wrists and 2 in harnesses at her side. They were as ready as they will ever be.

"We will be going to the world we will call world 2 today. We will hopefully be back tonight but we don't know if time moves the same in other worlds so there is a chance we won't be." Raven explained.

"Why world 2?" Octavia queried.

"Because ours is world 1." Raven replied

"May we meet again, Raven Kom Skaikru, may we meet again, Octavia Kom Skaikru." Indra farewelled the girls who repeated the sentiment before Indra left the room.

"Are you ready, O?" Raven asked preparing the device and turning the key once, before taking Octavia's hand in hers.

"We have got this, Reyes, let's go." Octavia replied as they step towards the portal and through it.

They have been ported to what looks like a beautiful boardwalk surrounded by happy, people. There is a beautiful beach in front of them and shops opposite. The girls looked around in awe.

A cute blonde, tanned girl walks towards them lazily checking them out. Raven winks out her.

"Well, I don't know where we are but the people and the scenery are hot. No complaints from me." Raven smiled.

"Stop flirting with the locals, Ray and let's get started." Octavia said nudging her friend.

"Ok I guess, first we need information, where we are, the date, if they have computers where we could use one. So let's work on that." Raven replied.

"I will go to the shops over there and ask you ask here back soon." Octavia said.

The two girls split up, when they reunited soon after they had discovered they were at Palm Beach, Sydney, Australia, it was the 3rd of August 2021 that makes it winter, luckily for them because they needed their jackets to hide their weapons and there were free use computers at the local library. So they made their way to the local library and accessed the search engine and typed in 'Clarke Griffin' .

"Oh, wow, O, this world's Griff is alot like ours." Raven smiled looking at the girls Facebook and Instagram. She is currently studying Medicine at the University of Sydney, she paints, look this painting looks like the beach we were just at, oh yes it is that beach look at this photo from this morning captioned 'enjoying my regular early morning surf at beautiful palm beach.' And look this earth me is clearly her bestie still," Raven smiled.

"Where am I?" Octavia asked, "Why isn't Clarke my friend?"

"I don't know, O, but at least we know where to find this earth Clarke. Let's hope we have as much luck with Lexa. What do we search Lexa kom Trikru?" Raven replied.

"We could try I guess," Octavia said.

"Ok well there is a sports team called Trikru whose captain is Lexa Woods but there is no picture, so I don't know if it's her." Raven savid.

"Oh that's her," Octavia said, "I remember Lincoln told me that was Lexa's surname just no-one uses it."

"Ok let's try Lexa Woods," Raven said typing it into the search engine and looking through the social media. "Oh that's our girl, well Clarke's girl anyway. Wow she works for the police as a Sargent in the Tactical Response Unit, yep she plays soccer and she is a boxer," Raven said looking through more photos. "Oh look, O, there is this world's you. 'Hanging with my bestie, Octavia Blake.' you are Lexa's best friend."
