Caspian, was up early, ready to start his journey to Arkadia, the horses were all packed and ready to go, when his sister sauntered over to him. Caspian noted that everyone she passed, would bow their head and say, Trikova Heda (Shadow Commander). He hugged his sister and asked "what's with the new name?"
"Oh that, it started yesterday, when I was training with Zahra, I don't know why, but everyone is calling me that now. It's nothing to worry about." Rebel replied.
"It suits you, besides I have no interest in being Hedaking, and I am pretty sure Lyric, isn't interested in being Hedakwin. In all honesty, you are most suited to succeeding mum. I think it's your destiny." Caspian said.
Rebel laughed, "you two might not be interested, but I think Indi would fight me for the position and she might just beat me. She is very skilled."
"Oh yeah, Indi would definitely kick your ass." Caspian laughed. "Indi is a great fighter but even threaten someone she loves and she will lay waste to everyone and everything. Like the stories of Mumma as Wanheda. She would be a good leader, but she leads with her heart and that's not always best for our people. And Indi would be the first to say, you are the obvious choice to succeed mum."
"Thankfully, we don't have to worry about that anytime soon. Both of our mums are still lethal weapons. Besides we have been at peace longer than we have been alive." Rebel said
"You are right of course. Anyway bratty, baby sister, I better get going, we all know what a ladies man Brax is, he will be too busy flirting and nothing will be getting done." Caspian teased.
"He definitely takes after Aunty Ray, in the flirt department. One of you has to be charming, because you certainly are not. I'm not a brat or a baby." Rebel spat her words in annoyance.
Caspian laughed, "you make it so easy to push your buttons, Reb, I love you and will miss you." Caspian hugged Rebel, "oh and Reb," Caspian smirked, "we want to meet your midnight rendezvous, don't hide her from the family."
"I won't introduce her to you, your ugly face would scare her away." Rebel teased back.
"Oh so you admit there is someone." Caspian smirked, knowing his sister walked right into his trap.
"I never said that," Rebel said punching Caspian's arm, as she blushed.
Caspian laughed, "see you soon sis. I love you."
"Love you too, Cas, stay safe." Rebel said waving goodbye to her brother.
Rebel meet Zahra for breakfast, before they went to the training grounds, where they worked through how to read an opponents next move. They were just about to take a break, when Indra and a few of her Generals came over, with a scout.
"Princess Rebel, we have unknown persons, on Trikru land, we are about to ride out and find out what they want, did you want to join us?" Indra questioned.
"Are they hostile?" Rebel questioned.
"Not at this stage, but they have weapons and look like an army." Indra replied.
"How many are there." Rebel asked.
"I am told 20." Indra replied.
"Ok lets do this, I want 40 warriors, as well as us. I will meet you at the stables, I want to change swords, get my bow and put on my war paint. Zahara prepare yourself and meet me at the stables." Rebel instructed.
