Abby arrives in Polis, to confirm that Raven and Clarke are pregnant.
"Sorry, I couldn't get here sooner, girls, I had a patient, which was a complex case and I couldn't leave. But this means, we can do an ultrasound and check on my grandbabies, rather than just confirming you are pregnant." Abby said excitedly, showing the portable ultrasound machine, she didn't let the guards carry in, prefering to keep it with her.
"I don't think I am pregnant mum." Clarke said a little upset. "Raven has had morning sickness for weeks and I have had none."
"Typically morning sickness would not start until about six weeks, Raven is just being an overachiever." Abby said.
"Blah, this is one thing I would be happy to be an underachiever with, morning sickness sucks. Be glad you haven't got it yet, Clarkey," Raven said.
Abby and Clarke giggled, as Octavia rubbed Raven's back.
"It will be worth it, Raven." Abby said. "Where is Lexa, will she be joining us?"
"Yes, the guards have gone to get her and the boys, she took them for riding lessons. She has bought them both horses, which will arrive in the next few days, from Ingranrona, she asked for them to have extra training, so they would be well behaved." Clarke said, so proud of the care, her wife takes with their son and nephew.
"I was wondering where my grandson's were. How is Brax settling in?" Abby asked.
"He is doing great, Abby, after our scare on the way back from Arkadia, we had him fitted for Armour, he wants to wear it every day, even when he doesn't need too." Octavia said.

"We are thinking of starting Braxton on basic fight training. Nothing serious, more just self defence moves." Octavia said, as they made their way into the elevator.
"Lex and I agree, we wanted Caspian to know self defence, after the scare. The fact is we don't know what enemies are out there and if something happens, I would prefer he wasn't helpless. Besides he loves it. And because of who Lex and I are, he will be a target. Braxton, to a lesser degree, has a similar problem, both his mother's are high level in our court and Brax and Caspian are inseperable, so that makes him a target as well." Clarke explained as the reached Lexa and her quarters.
"Yes, you should do everything to help them stay safe, just watch injuries are healed properly." Abby said.
Lexa finally arrived, she walks in with Caspian and Bracton, who yell grandma and run to hug Abby. Lexa kisses Clarke's cheek and said, "Welcome Abby."
"Hello, my handsome grandsons, how was the riding lessons." Abby asked the boys, kissing each on the top of the head and hugging them. Both the boys answered, it was good grandma. "Thank you, Lexa, as I was telling the girls we can do an ultrasound now, so it was a little fortunate I was held up."
Lexa looked from Clarke to Abby and said, "what is an ultrasound?"
"It uses soundwaves to produce a picture of the baby, we will be able to measure it, to make sure it's growing as expected and we can hear the heartbeat. I put some gel on the tummy and run a wand over, until I locate the baby." Abby said.
"Is it safe?" Lexa asks amazed, but worried.
"Yes, it is very safe." Abby said.
"Great, let's do it." Lexa said excited.
"How about we let Ray and O go first, Lex, while Raven is not feeling sick." Clarke said.
"That is fine, yes I should have thought of that. Don't want Raven vomitting in our bed." Lexa teased.
"Just you wait Lex, Clarke will get morning sickness soon and it will be her, you will be making sure doesn't vomit in the bed." Raven said.
"Ok, Raven get over here and expose your tummy, Octavia come closer, so you can see." Abby said, setting up her ultrasound machine.
Abby squirted gel on Raven's tummy and started. Octavia took Raven's hand and kissed it.
"Oh, there is the heartbeat." Abby said as Raven and Octavia smiled, hearing a strong little heart beat. Abby checked over a few more things including the babies length. "you have a very healthy grandbaby for me." Abby teased.
"Congratulations, Ray and O." Clarke said.
"Yes congratulations to you both," Lexa said.
"Thank you," Raven and Octavia said.
"When can we find out the gender of the baby?" Raven asked.
"Oh, did I forget to mention to you both, you will only be able to have female children, because there is not enough of Y chromosome in your genes, to produce a boy." Abby explained, "the same goes for you, Lexa and Clarke."
"I am more than happy having a little girl, I'm hoping she looks just like my beautiful wife." Lexa said smiling.
"We would have been happy with either, gender doesn't matter. They are our child, we would love them equally, regardless." Raven smiled.
"Although a pretty, little mini Raven would be adorable." Octavia smiled.
"I am sure she will be a mix of both of you and either way she will be perfect, because she will be loved by us all." Abby said, handing Raven a cloth to clean the gel off of her tummy, as she got up.
"Let's go my love, I want to see our baby girl " Lexa said helping Clarke to her feet.
"Lie down, Clarke and expose your belly please." Clarke did as she was told, Lexa took her hand and Abby applied the gel and began.
"Mum, what is it? Is our baby ok?" Clarke asked worried. Lexa moved closer to Clarke and kissed her cheek.
"Everything is fine with the baby, both of them, you are having twins. There is two heartbeats, that's what I was trying to work out. One of your girls was hiding behind the other. They are both healthy and fine."
Clarke looked at Lexa and watched her beam with pride, a huge smile on her face. "My love, we have two more babies on the way and they are both very healthy." Lexa said tears of happiness, appearing in her green eyes.
Clarke smiled at her wife. "Is that ok, Lex, I mean we only talked about 1 more, not that we can change it?" Clarke asked.
"Of course, my Kwin, I could not be happier, we have been blessed with not one beautiful baby but two. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world."
"Congratulations guys, we are so happy for you both. And Lexa if you puff your chest up any more with pride, you might just float away." Raven teased.
Octavia, Clarke and Abby laughed. And Octavia congratulated them both.
"I can't help it, I am proud, my wife is having 2 of my babies. Does life get any better?" Lexa said. "Abby, when is the best time to tell Caspian?"
"I would wait until the 3 month mark, but if Clarke starts showing obviously and he questions it, it wouldn't hurt to talk about it a bit sooner. And same with Braxton." Abby explained.
"Twins, with the first pregnancy, means I will monitor the pregnancy more closely. I will be here monthly to check on you both." Abby said to Clarke and Raven.
Lots of hugs were shared, between the family, before they all cleaned up, for a family dinner.
