Doppelganger Lexa woke before the sun, to the most beautiful sight she had ever seen. Big blue eyes staring at her.

"Please, tell me you are real, Lex, please tell me you are real. Please Lex I need you." Clarke whispered stroking Lexa's cheek. "Please I can't be dreaming again, I need you to be real."

"I am real beautiful, I am here and I am not going anywhere." Lexa replied.

"Hold me, please Lex," Clarke said.

Lexa leaned over and hugged Clarke. Clarke squeezed her tight.

"Please, Lex, lie with me." Clarke said

Lexa climbed on the bed beside Clarke, wrapping her arms around her and kissing her forehead.

"Lex?" Clarke whispered.

"Yes, beautiful," Lexa said stroking Clarke's hair. "Where are we?"

"Oh, sorry, I should have explained I was just so happy you were awake. We are at Arkadia, when we got to you, you had been given too much sedative and we're unresponsive, Arkadia was the closest and Abby is the best healer, so we galloped all the way here." Lexa explained.

"Thank you, for saving me." Clarke whispered.

"I will always protect you, no-one is going to hurt you again." Lexa said looking into Clarke's eyes. "I am sorry I didn't get there sooner."

"Lex, I'm tired ," Clarke murmured.

"Go to sleep, sweetheart." Lexa replied.

"Stay, please," Clarke murmured, "hold me. You make me feel safe."

"I will be with you for as long as you want me to. I am glad you feel safe with me." Lexa said kissing Clarke's forehead as she drifts off to sleep.

Lexa fell asleep not long after, her lips still on Clarke's forehead. Abby walked in and found them like this and finally accepted that her daughter was in love with Lexa and Lexa was in love with Clarke.

Lexa knocked on Raven's door and waited, Raven answered the door with just a long shirt and underwear on.

"Lexa? Is everything ok?" Raven asked concerned.

"I need Octavia's and your help," Lexa said a little shy.

"Ok, let us get dressed, just a minute." Raven said.

Raven let her in soon after. "What's going on, Lexa, you look so nervous. Did you cheat on my girl, Clarke?" Raven teased.

"I would never." Lexa looked horrified at the suggestion, but still looked nervous.

"Don't listen to her, Lexa, everyone can see how much you love Clarke, you would never cheat on her." Octavia said.

"I love Clarke more than anyone or anything, more than I could ever think it was possible to even love someone." Lexa said. "I need your help, I want to ask Clarke to be my wife, I need to know how to do that the Skaikru way, please."

Raven and Octavia squeal and jump up and down with excitement.

"Ok, first you need to kill anyone who has ever been in love with her." Raven said with a serious expression, barely covering the smile that was bursting to come out with the teasing.

"Oh good, not much different from our traditions then. Although, that usually doesn't happen until just before the wedding." Lexa said.

"Wait, what? I was joking, wait you kill all her past loves before the wedding?" Raven asked.

"Well not all of them, but we have a ceremony called 'Tombom gonplei' it means 'heart fight' anyone who has feelings for Clarke can challenge me, to fight for her heart, before the wedding, it will be a to the death match."
