Lexa was up way before dawn, if she was honest, she really couldn't say she had slept more than an hour, the night before, she missed Clarke. Missed the warmth of her body wrapped around hers, missed her kisses, the sweet ones, the passionate ones and especially the ones so filled with love.
Lexa did want to waste another minute, getting her bride back in her arms, where she belonged. She wasn't worried in the least for Clarke's safety, she knew her family would keep her safe and honestly Clarke could almost beat Lexa in a fight, anyone trying to take her on would be destroyed but the blonde. Plus Octavia is a great warrior and no-one is better with a gun then Raven, Abby was always there if something went wrong medically and Murphy might pretend he doesn't care but it's clear he does and his sneakiness would be helpful if they get in trouble. No it wasn't that she was worried about Clarke's safety, it was that whenever they were apart Lexa's heart literally ached, until they were together again.
Luna and Indra were waiting at the stables, with the horses ready to go, knowing that Lexa would want to leave as soon as possible, they were prepared. Mounting up, they galloped out of Polis and made their way to the drop ship at top speed.
Clarke was lying on a bed in the drop ship, waiting for Lexa, reminiscing about the past. Raven had been spot on with the clue she left Lexa, this was indeed the place she had first made Lexa mad. When they had first landed, Lexa had sent 300 warriors to kill off the 100, Clarke along with Raven and Jasper, had rigged the ship to fire the rockets, when the warriors breached the wall and got close to the ship.
The perimeter wall didn't hold the grounders off for long and they had been forced to raise the door and prepare to fire the engines, as they were rising the door Anya had jumped into the drop shit, over the closing door. They fired the engines, whilst Clarke tried to stop the 100 from killing Anya, finally she got them to agree to tie her up and keep her prisoner. And yet Anya was just one of their loved ones who wouldn't be at their wedding. Lexa had been Anya's second and loved the woman like a sister. Clarke and Anya, though they had a rough start, grudgingly learned to respect and care for each other, when they escaped Mount Weather together.
Mount Weather, is were Jasper lost Maya, Maya who had helped rescue those stuck in the mountain, being harvested for their bone marrow. Clarke was traumatised, when they had extracted from Raven, but then they started on her mother. There was really nothing they could do, either watch their loved ones die from being harvested or kill the people doing it. Clarke regretted killing the innocents, but more that any of that she regretted killing Mia.
Lincoln was next to be lost, at the hands of that psycho, Pike, who had taken over Arkadia. Lexa almost lost Indra that day to, Clarke still couldn't believe that Bellamy had been involved with that.
Bellamy...... Wow did he surprise Clarke. Yeah when they first came to earth, she had quiet frankly been disgusted by him, but after everything they had been through, she had started to think of him as a brother, but then he goes and follows Pike and kills all those soldiers, who were sent to protect them, in their sleep, then he kidnapped doppleganger Clarke, thinking it was her and tried to force her to love him and drugged her. In the end he deserved his fate. But Clarke felt for Octavia, who had lost Lincoln and Bellamy. She is glad that she has Raven, looking at the two of them now kissing and cuddling, she knew they were meant to be. She was glad they had each other.
Whilst they had a lot of loved ones, who would be missing from their wedding, their wedding would still be supported and filled with love, by their loved ones.
Clarke could not wait to marry Lexa, she could not believe how in love with Lexa she is. Their love had been inevitable, from the first moment they locked eyes, they were inescapably drawn to each other. There was no escaping being in love with Lexa, Clarke thought not that she would ever want to.
She missed Lexa so much, whenever they were apart her heart ached to be back with Lexa. Her sexy commander in leather armour better hurry up and get her sweet ass here to rescue her from her kidnappers. Clarke giggled as she looked around at her family, they were such scary kidnappers, she thought sarcastically.
Clarke looked outside, as she heard the galloping thunder of horse hooves approaching. Her beautiful commander, was here to rescue her, Clarke's heart pounded almost out of her chest in anticipation.
Lexa could see the dropship ahead, she didn't even wait for her horse to stop completely before jumping off and racing into the dropship. She saw Raven and Octavia making out by the door, they didn't even notice her. Abby was nowhere to be seen and Murphy was asleep in the hammock. They were really failing as kidnappers, Lexa laughed. She looked around the room and found Clarke tied loosely to a bed in the corner with a gag in her mouth.
Lexa ran over to her removed her restraints and took out the gag, she stroked Clarke's face and checked for any injuries, finding none, she looked into Clarke's eyes and said, "I have got you now, my princess." They both fell into a searing kiss, the kiss making words unnecessary as it poured out their love and desire for each other.
When they finally managed to pull apart, their heads resting on each other's foreheads, Clarke said, "I'm so glad, I missed you so much, never let me get kidnapped again." Clarke joked.
"I missed you so much, and I'm never letting you go." Lexa replied.
Raven and Octavia finally broke apart and saw the two, "you didn't think about it very hard." Raven joked to Lexa.
"She is all I think about," Lexa said.
"Oh you two are sickeningly sweet, get a room." Raven teased
"I'm taking my princess home now. And I suggest you be quiet or I will show her the letter and let her release Wanheda on you." Lexa laughed teasingly, as she picked Clarke up and carried her to the horses, bridal style.
They mounted their horses and Lexa said to Raven, "I trust you can find your own way back home."
"We will see you there, commander heart eyes." Raven joked.
"Oh you won't be seeing us tonight," Clarke purred, "I need to thank my hero properly."
Lexa blushed and Raven smirked appreciatively nodding her head.
"Get it, Griff," Octavia yelled as they turned and galloped back to Polis.
When they reached Polis they were greeted with cheers, for how fast Heda had returned with her Hedatu, everyone well aware this was all part of the Tombon Gonplei ceremony. When Lexa lifted Clarke off her horse and kissed her passionately outside the tower, the assembled crowd yelled and hooted their approval. Lexa picked Clarke up and carried her into the tower bridal style.
