Lexa and Clarke took full advantage of the cabin, for the week, enjoying each other regularly and everywhere. They also enjoyed hunting and just relaxing together. As they packed the horses, for their ríde home, Clarke thought about how happy she was, their week together had been special. Lexa had given her all her time, even when they were just lying around while Lexa read and Clarke drew. They had bonded more, than they had previously and were more in love than before and who would have believed that possible. Not Clarke that's for sure.

Lexa walked over to Clarke and kissed her passionately, "Ready to go home, my love?"

"No, is it bad I want to stay here with just you forever?" Clarke said.

"As much as I would love to spend the rest of my life right here with you, we can't, they will come for us. Remember your sister came and got us from another world." Lexa laughed.

Clarke laughed, "yes I guess there is no escape, for us. Ok but we should holiday here at least once a year."

"If my princess wants it, my princess shall have it." Lexa smiled lovingly at Clarke, before kissing her, "I love you Clarke."

"I am so in love with you, Lex and with you by my side there is nothing we can't deal with." Clarke smiled and mounted her horse.

Lexa mounted her horse and leaned over and kissed Clarke, "I feel the same my love, with you by my side, I feel invincible."

They took one last look at their retreat, not that it can be seen from where they were and rode off on the way back to Polis.

They were almost back to Polis when they saw a body lying in the road. Clarke jumped off her horse and was about to run over, when Lexa said, "wait, Clarke, please, this is how bandits rob and kill people. Please stay behind me."

Lexa dismounted and pulled her sword out and walked cautiously towards the person on the road. "Hello, are you alright?" Lexa said.

"Heda? Is that you?" The woman on the ground said, rolling over to look at her leader.

"Shiloh, are you ok? Clarke please come help, this is, Anya's sister, she needs help." Lexa said anxiously.

"No Heda, I am dying, I was bit by a snake we have no antivenom for. I don't have long, I was trying to make it to Polis, my baby boy has no more family. His father was killed by the reapers and Anya's gone. Please Heda, I was coming to Polis to ask you to raise him." Shiloh said. "Please Heda, I know it's alot to ask, but you are the closest to family we have left and I want him to be raised by someone with a pure good heart, and I know you are the best there is."

Lexa and Clarke finally saw the baby, in her arms, he couldn't have been more than a month old. Lexa looked at Clarke, who nodded. "Of course, Shiloh, but I haven't given up on saving you yet. Clarke take the baby put him inside your Jacket, we need to Gallop home." Clarke took the baby and did as Lexa said. Lexa lifted Shiloh, onto her horse and swung up, she looked at her wife and said, " Let's go." Before galloping the rest of the way to Polis.

"Get a medic, immediately," Lexa screamed at the guards as they approached Polis gate.

She skidded her horse to a halt, and handed and unconscious Shiloh off to the guards, to carry to the medic. "She has been bitten by an unknown snake. She has a baby, save her."

The medic bowed his head, " I will do my best Heda."

"I will be back to check on her as soon as I get my wife and the child settled." Lexa said.

Clarke and Lexa rode to the stables and Lexa lifted Clarke and the baby off of the horse. "Lexa, we need to get some baby supplies and some goats milk, for this little guy or even better if another mother has some milk to spare."
