Neutral point of view
Indeed, Pete soon understands that he is right. Vegas slept on the couch last night. Kim took part in the friend's room and found himself alone in his room, after a long evening of work at the restaurant.
He doesn't sleep at night, soaked in sweat. He can't help but wonder how the new day is looming will go.
Vegas said he was going to distance himself but that his patience had limits.
But which ones?
Could Vegas force him to do things he doesn't want to do?
Pete is anxious now.
No. Vegas won't do that. He promised him to take care of him and not to hurt him.
Pete gets up from his bed and goes to take a new shower. It is almost two o'clock in the morning and he has university in a few hours.
He can't find sleep so how will he take care of himself?
Should he go to Vegas, wake him up and apologize?
Vegas doesn't sleep either. Anger has him from all sides and even if the desire to join Pete in the shower is strong, he manages to hold back.
His pride has always been very strong and for him it is inconceivable to take the first step.
He takes his phone and puts on his headphones so as not to hear Pete and the noises he makes.
He will watch his series all night, until the morning.
It is Kim who is the first to go to the kitchen to prepare everyone's breakfast.
Vegas does not address a single word to him or Pete.
- Vegas?
Total silence while all 3 are at the table eating. Kim remains silent by looking at Vegas.
Pete sighs but tries to fix things. He tries to put a hand on that of Vegas but he immediately removes it from the table.
- Don't touch me.
He will get up without finishing his plate and go to the bathroom. Pete lowers his head in the face of this behavior but does not cry yet.
Kim is waiting for Vegas to be out of the room to put a comforting hand on Pete's shoulder.
- It's going to pass him, don't worry.
Pete nods, not really convinced by this but he has no choice but to wait for everything to pass.
He finishes his breakfast and takes in his bag something to snack on for Vegas in case the latter is hungry.
- I'm going to take us to university. Take care of blurring the tracks of the police investigation again.
Kim nods his head.
- As you wish. I will pass on to you news.
- No, it would be better if we no longer communicate any information via SMS. Direct speech will be our only means of communication. The police could spy on our phones.
Pete is taking more and more part in operations to save his life. Kim is very happy and proud of it but sincerely hopes that all their steps will not be in check and turn against them.
While his two cadets go coldly to university, he returns home to tell his father Korn the latest news about their operations.
Mr. Saetang Senior is committed to taking this case in hand and ensuring that nothing more draws the attention of the police to Pete, Vegas and his son.
