Three months have passed since Time and Pete last met.

Pete was never contacted by Time again and that suits him just fine. He spends his life with Vegas, now based in the United States.

They passed their final exams with immense success and are now preparing for their lives on this new continent. The University of Pennsylvania welcomes them with open arms into its residence hall.

They have an apartment of their own, for which they already pay the rent for the next two years, the duration of their master's degree in international banking law.

Some of their mutual friends, like Déborah, are also in the same University and the same class. The trio is very happy to be together for a few years.

Deborah is happy that Pete found someone like Vegas.

The last days of the license exams were punctuated by Pete and Vegas' revelation that they had been together for a few months. The whole class was happy and wished them happiness.Déborah also has an apartment in the university residence, without a roommate. They are under the protection of the Mexican mafia, whose undisputed leader is Pietro Tortilla. He is friends with Chan Wen, the father of Big and Time.

Seeing that nothing could harm Pete, Chan decided to suspend all his plans against him, wanting to prioritize the release of Big, whose mental state has not improved at all.
