A fairytale of a beautiful maiden, the beloved Frost Flower Princess was supposed to be staying in the comfort of her castle masquerading as a cage to protect her from the dangers outside, imprisoned by her own brothers.

** Main Street
As the six students made their way down the path from Ramshackle Dorm to the Hall of Mirrors, Grim strutted ahead with a very smug smirk plastered across his face.
"Move it! Outta the way! Night Raven College student comin' through!" Grim announced loudly, practically basking in his newly-earned status. His smirk widened as he caught sight of Ace's irritated glare. "Oh? Did my collar catch your eye?" he taunted, puffing out his chest. "It is way better than the one you're stuck with! You know, the one that makes it so you can't use magic? But hey, the school could always use another janitor! Bwahahaha!" he laughed, clearly mocking Ace's current predicament. Ace twitched, visibly holding back his anger.
"I think he's suffered enough, Grim." Y/n interjected, her cool gaze settling on the weasel. Though her expression remained indifferent, there was just enough weight in her words to make Grim flinch slightly.
"Grrrrr! Trust me Grim, when I get my magic back, your hide is first up on the chopping block!" Ace promised, scowling at the weasel.
Deuce sighed, rubbing his temples. "Didn't the headmage JUST tell Vanitas yesterday, no more incidents?" He asked harshly to Ace. "Regardless, you're not going to be able to participate in class if you can't use magic. So why not just apologize to the housewarden? It's a small price to pay for having the collar removed."
"Aaaaargh! I hate this so! SO! Much!" Ace whined dramatically.
"Hmm. Ya know, we do still have some time to kill before class starts. And I am kinda curious about the other dorms. Guess I'll go along and scope out the place to make sure it's safe for N/n while you make with the groveling." Grim says, having a grin on his face.
"I'm also curious as well." Y/n admitted bluntly.
"Me too!" Vanitas chimed in cheerfully. "Seeing how the students of this school live sounds delightfully entertaining~!"
Ace stared at them in absolute disbelief. "Since when did this become a field trip?!"
* Hall of Mirrors
Upon entering the Hall of Mirrors, Vanitas and Y/n looked around curiously. "What are these mirrors?" Vanitas asked.

"They're doors that lead to each dorm." Deuce answered him. "Your dorm is on campus, but the others are a ways from here." he stated. Vanitas arched a brow, arms crossed loosely. He was only half-listening—until he noticed Y/n staring intently at the Diasomnia mirror. Her gaze was locked, almost trance-like, the soft glow of green briefly flickering in her eyes.
