It's been passed down since olden times." he exclaimed, his gaze dropping to Y/n as she danced and sang with ethereal grace. "It was supposedly sung by the Kindly Bell Ringer to express his hopes for a brighter tomorrow... But how did they even come to sing it...?" His voice wavered with disbelief.

A calm presence approached—Professor Trein. "Curious, are you?" he asked, observing Rollo's stunned expression.

Rollo stiffened, a nervous sweat bead trickling down his temple. "...Professor Trein."

"It's fine, you can relax." Trein reassured. "The song was Draconia's idea. He proposed that the group arrange a gift for you all with her majesty coming up with this orchestral arrangement."

Rollo's eyes widened in surprise. "Y/n and... Malleus orchestrated this...?"

Trein nodded. "Yes. He was quite pleased to have been invited to the social. This was a token of his appreciation." He chuckled softly. "He wished to make this experience unforgettable for his forgetful fiancée."

"A token of appreciation...?" Rollo murmured, his mind racing. "Is THAT why he insisted on having the ball, despite everything?"

"*singing*" The music swelled as Malleus's clear voice began the song.

Rollo huffed in disbelief but kept his gaze fixed protectively on Y/n. "...Hmph. Ridiculous."

"*singing*" Idia's shy voice joined in, expertly hiding his embarrassment and panic.

"*singing*" Azul's smooth tone wove through the melody, adding brightness.

"*singing*" Y/n sang softly, her delicate voice resembling that of a porcelain doll.

A male voice rang out warmly, breaking through the post-song chatter.

"............" Rollo let out a peaceful sigh, his eyes softening as he watched Y/n's radiant magic performance replay in his mind. 'So this is what he met... Just seeing her magic at play like this...' A shy smile tugged at his lips, though he quickly blushed when Y/n glanced his way.

"Utterly...ridiculous... Utterly..." he muttered under his breath, clearing his throat as the crowd erupted into cheers and applause, marveling at the vanishing ice instruments that left behind a shimmering aurora. "...... Yes, that was a fine gift indeed... Let's have a big round of applause for the promising young mages from Night Raven College."
