A fairytale of a beautiful maiden, the beloved Frost Flower Princess was supposed to be staying in the comfort of her castle masquerading as a cage to protect her from the dangers outside, imprisoned by her own brothers.
That is, until a mysterious...
Everyone plunged into the darkness, their screams echoing through the void.
"MRAAAH! I'M FALLIIING!" Grim screeched, flailing his limbs.
"I must protect my students! Everyone, brace for impact!" Professor Trein shouted, whipping out his wand with speed. "Hrah!" A soft golden glow shimmered beneath them as a cushioning spell broke their fall.

Dust began to clear as the group landed hard in a dim, echoing cave.
"Mrah?!" Grim yelped, flailing as he bellyflopped into the rocky ground.
"Oof, ow... Yep, landed right on my butt..." Deuce groaned, rubbing the sore spot while glaring at nothing in particular.
"Is everyone alright?!" Trein's voice rang out, filled with concern as he immediately scanned the group, wand still clutched in hand.
"I think I'm okay..." Epel mumbled, still dazed.
Noé and Isfrid had landed gracefully—Noé crouching like a panther while Isfrid's massive white wings flared in a snow-dusted arc, gliding him safely to the ground.
"Everyone landed safely... Good," Isfrid muttered, though his voice had an edge. His pupils slit tighter, searching every shadow with growing panic. "Where is she...?"
Vanitas groaned nearby, dragging himself up with an annoyed huff. "Tch. Landed worse than expected. Someone owes me a back rub..." He dusted himself off, glancing at Noé. "You alright, partner?"
"I'm fine," Noé nodded calmly, surveying their surroundings. "But I don't see Y/n."
Azul adjusted his glasses, recovering from the fall with practiced poise. "Looks like those who couldn't handle their own landing are unharmed thanks to Professor Trein. Nicely done, Professor! Naturally, I landed fine on my own by applying a bit of wind magic," he added with a proud glint.
"Is this REALLY the time to be sucking up?" Idia shouted, anxiety cracking his voice. He scanned the group and paled. "Wait—Where's Y/n?!"
The red flags in his head were now blaring like alarms.
With the surge of magic in the air, the firelotuses began multiplying rapidly again.
