A fairytale of a beautiful maiden, the beloved Frost Flower Princess was supposed to be staying in the comfort of her castle masquerading as a cage to protect her from the dangers outside, imprisoned by her own brothers.

All the students from the invited arcane academies trudged into the lecture hall, exhaustion evident on their faces after the festival—especially Y/n.
"*yaaawn*" Grim yawned deeply. "I'm beat after puttin' on that big show. I just wanna go to my room and pass out,"
"You must wait. One of the students here asked all social participants to assemble in this hall," Malleus responded firmly.
"I think all the students from the other schools are here too." Azul mused, scanning the room. "Perhaps they're going to give us our schedule for tomorrow?"
Vanitas leaned toward Y/n and pinched her cheek with a smirk. "I think Mon Cher just cares about sleeping."
"Vanitas..." Y/n groaned.
Just then, the clear, resonant tone of the Bell of Solace rang out across the city again—an unexpected sound that echoed into the hall, drawing startled looks.
"Huh?"
"What in the world?" Vanitas exclaimed, brow furrowing.
"Is that...the Bell of Solace?" Sebek asked quietly.
"It must be. There's no mistaking that distinctive ring," Silver confirmed.
"I thought the bell only rang at morning, noon, and night. And the nighttime bell has already rung," Riddle frowned thoughtfully. "So why is it ringing this late?"
"Something's wrong..." Noé murmured, concern touching his usually calm voice.
"Hm?" Azul's gaze flicked to a corner of the room. "Is there some sort of flame in the corner of the hall?"
"A flame...?" Isfrid blinked, tense and alert. Malleus's face paled as he stepped protectively in front of Y/n, moving beside Noé. Isfrid gently guided Y/n back as Vanitas cradled her close, shielded from the growing threat.
